Someone has to tach those players positioning and movement off the ball - how to play as a team. Have you noticed something about Man. City and Real Madrid ? When they have to play against an organized defense they can always move the ball downfiled to promising position. This we can't do with the same fluency-effectiveness (but in the old days we could of course).

The champions league team was not as good in the premier and from the foreigns teams we played only Real Madrid and City were premier league top ten level really. Then we lost Rudiger and Kante and starting from August 2022 things are bleak. The replacements of the old squad were the likes of Lukaku and Aubameyang and the great white hope Mount proved a flop - he 's gone. Every single one of our present crop of players could do great in Italy, Portugal, Netherlands. Those are lower standard leagues (used to rule the world, now they are lower standard). But the present squad are not Chelsea level.

How do big clubs in this football world fall from grace ? Usually it is for one-two years, they lose a couple of places. Once in fifteen-twenty years they lose more than a couple of places, end up below midtable position but again this is temporary - big clubs fix things, that's why they are called big clubs. Then there are the paysants' teams. Sometimes they get lucky, win trophies, but no budget so they return to where they were. When some legend players come of age and depart is one reason and for the poor guys because they sell out. With Chelsea (and also United) what is the underlying reason ? We seem to bounce between Scylla and Charybdis three years now even though we spend billions.

At no point did we look like a superior team. Except the last ten minutes they -mistakenly- tried to park the bus. What sort of time does Poch want ?

Gr time is Swe time + 1. So if you post at 16.40 it's 17.40 our time i.e. five minutes to half time of the match ! But is that Swe time depicted here in CFC forum ? If it is 16:40 UK time then that makes it 5 minutes to full time - imposs. So it's 16:40 Gr time and 15.40 your time - twenty minutes before kick off. Has to be. What time do they know the lineups (time bfore kick off !).

These are the starting lineups. It says posted at 16:40 Sunday. Where did you get them from ? Also is the 16:40 I see here my local time (Greece time) ? If it is 16:40 in Greece it is 14:40 in the UK. I want to see the lineups for tomorrow to see if Poch will start with Jackson again or Nkunku.

Poch made four changes during the 120 minutes. Klop made six changes. None of these changes was forced. Whereas it looked as if Liverpool were running out of stamina, the opposite thing happened during extra time. Why this happened ? If there was no extra time nobody would blame Poch and if in fact Chelsea had won in normal time the guilty man might have been Klop. It looks like Poch's big gaff was taking out Gallagher and replacing him with Madueke. But what else did go wrong ? Should Poch have subbed more players ?
