  1. Leicester looked like last year's Chelsea. Still, a solid performance and handsome win.
  2. Interesting. I was given a free no strings attached bonus once, a magazine coupon, 5 euros. It was for Hill's cashable no requirement to deposit. So I said I 'll make this 100 and cash it or bust. I put the fiver on a 3 to 1 horse. It wins. Then the 20 euros on a 4 to 1 horse. Now as I remember the two market principals were Dettori riding a Godolphin horse against somebody else. I decide to go against Dettori and there is a five minute photo finish in the end. I was following the races from racingpost text, so I phoned someone else who had tv. I lost. I think the other one said "can't make out" and before he hangs the phone, the post printed the result. But most bonuses have certain rules. For instance now I have a 5 euro bonus again from bet365. I have to bet 15 euros to make it withdrawable. How can I make it generate a profit regardless ? They also have newcomer bonuses -of the whatever value- but again how do I make myself "newcomer" again ? There was a lot of talk about the bonus profiteers, just like with the arbers. Some ten years ago some company -don't remember the name- said we have excluded Denmark from our bonuses. The Danes they said were doing something. But why the Danes in particular and how I did not understand. Also how can you dutch horses and make a certain profit ? Only if you use arbing. I will tell you a trick, if you can do it. Become a member of pmu.fr, the French tote site. That may require you to be in France, or do it through a French colleague but let me assume it can be done. Then dutch bookie horses with the same horses through la pmu. I notice some huge discrepancies. Since the French is tote, it is uncertain but maybe it works. One thing we noticed with the French is they are nationalistic. So they go for Soumillon-Guyon, their jocks and against Moore-Sousa the British jocks when they ride together in the same race. But the UK market may be with Moore's horse. As the betting period draws to its end the two markets converge really but I think it possible you get something out of it in the end.
  3. I did an arbitrage once. The match was between Levante and Barcelona FC and I backed Levante to win and they did score a goal. But as I was watching the game, Levante were hugely outplayed and if I made new bets Barcelona or draw I could win whatever the outcome. I did this and in the end Barcelona won by 4 to 1. So the arbitrage became possible because through chance I found myself in an advantageous position. It was not an arbitrage resulting from different estimations between two bookmaker companies but it was arbitrage. But I don't even bother with arbitrage. It's too much trouble for minute percentages. What exactly is it you are doing then ? I can write about you in my forum too.
  4. The abolition of money was the clarion call of the "peoples revolution" two centuries ago. When the Soviets came to power this was seen to be impossible so the rouble stayed as a means of exchange. Later, in the year 1953, comrade Stalin printed the new rouble and a big propaganda campaign was launched, to herald the event. Then came electronics. The first bank cards were issued in the year 1977. They were clumsy. The ATM machine read your account number and your signature but sometimes got stuck. After three attempts you were out for 24 hours. On a good Thursday night it left me without a tuppence (the Midland bank it was). The banks were to reopen on Easter Tuesday so I ate some hazelnuts during those Easter days. Now they have progressed of course. To cut a long story short I don't see why they won't convert everything to plastic. Everything, down to aspirin tablets. If you have a suddent toothache -or aching tooth- the chemist gives you one for free more often than not. But why not use the plastic card for even such small amounts ? This ends tax evasion. From the 5 pence of the price of one aspirin pill, 0.5 goes to the treasury as the systems are interconnected and 4.5 to the shop. Furthermore the chemist's income tax is under control. Now will that solve all problems ? The system will become friendly ? Are you sure it will ? But I 'm afraid rather not. The next phase is to control the defenceless populations. How ? What will happen is this: Quite a number of jobs and trades that are legal now will be declared illegal, or you will have to pay a huge amount of tax in advance to carry on. So if you are not an employee of the state you are practically finished. This is in a nutshell the metacommunist concept. How they 're gonna cops with the large number of deaths, from starvation - exposure ? Gradually they find ways. Now they are into denying medication to cancer patients. The "project" is in it's second-third year now. You were n't going to see that happening under Hitler, if the reich lived for one million years (except if you were a Jew). You saw it -partly- under Stalin and more of it under the Cambodian Pol Pot regime. But this is now the pet system of the two political extremes and it is the leftists who are more keen on it among the two.
  5. Utd is Mouriho's biggest sh*t job ever.
  6. Fair enough. We don't seem to have a problem against smaller teams - except if something really outrageous happens, like Swansea. It's the same situation as under Mourinho really, minus the very bad psychology in his last days. I think we can go for a Europa league position or a cl position but no higher. The present squad has the known limitations.
  7. Roman has to jump into action and it's not something like bailing out the club, it's his job. If it is a lossy investment then it means we are headed towards the ... Isthmian league and everyone resigns. If Chelsea football club is a lossy investment then I wonder how many teams are left in the world.
  8. Matched betting is to make use of two different markets or more to make money irrespective of the outcome of a match / other sports event / other event. Sometimes the markets are in disparity so you can actually do this. For instance one bookie says "Hillary for president = 1.50" and another one says "Trump for president = 8.00" then you profit by backing both sides ! The bookie who says 1.50 for Hillary Clinton will give about 2.60 for Donald Trump. More than 3.00 he cannot possibly give. The bookie who says 8.00 for Donald Trump, will give about 1.08 for Hillary Clinton. More than 1.14 he cannot possibly give ! But because the two are in disparity, you can take advantage by dividing your total bet proportionally. In this particular bet it won't possibly happen. They all know all the details of the US presidential race and a disparity won't happen. It happens in less important events. I remember having seen a huge one for a match between some lesser known Asian football teams. There are snags: 1st) They may "correct" it before you are done placing your bets. Thus the one with "Trump" at 8.00 by the time you strike the bet may say "ooops, it's 2.70 now". 2nd) Are both companies invlolved licensed in your jurisdiction so you are allowed to place bets ? 3d) Betting tax issues. 4th) Are both companies reputable ? There exist some companies with bad reputation. In 2004 there was one who actually carried out a big advertising campaign in the web as well so they attracted customers. In the euro matches that year, I remember many Greeks backed the national team who actually won it in the end. They did n't get paid, late in the year the said company shut shop and goodbye ! Those years I used Eurobet and Betfair who were trusted companies, but some fell for the scam company. The big problem now is what happens if you actually start using the method. Everybody here says that if your bookie catches a whiff that you are into "arbitrage betting" your account is closed ! I don't know why they do that or what problem is it of theirs. If the other company offer different prices then so be it. What is their problem ?? But everybody say they cancel you. I am not an arbitrage bettor so I 'd like to see what the guys who started this service have to say about it.
  9. Mourinho lost 3 to 1 to Liverpool. Conte lost by 2 to 1. Look I never wanted to join the anti-Iva campaign. The man was our no 2 player in the Didier days. Maybe Lamps was our no 2 and Iva the no 3 but as Lamps faded, Iva became the no 2. Now is time for America, to teach the kids. Let's face it, a time comes. Cahill now never really made it, to gain any sort of recognition and Luiz as a defender always carried a question mark with him. I just think you need the tool to finish the job.
  10. After the championship the team aged.
  11. For their second goal the commentator said "look this is pathetic, Chelsea defense line is lost at sea, four forwards are making the defense line and they all fall asleep".
  12. This is like the relegation year. I remember in the stadium program-booklet they were saying "folks there is no money for the water bill - we have to endure". That year Tommy Langley emerged from the youth squad, a great talent but the injury put an end to his career. I think back then everyone understood the situation. But now ?
  13. And what a complicated pass it was ! Next thing to say is "if Ivanovic knows which he should that Cahill is not a footballer he should have packed the ball and take it home".
  14. I 've seen some aging cb's commiting horrible mistakes but three own goals in three consecutive matches is a world's first.
  15. Tsipras Greek circus I 'm pretty sure the readers who do not understand the Greek language will readily glean the general atmosphere of this video. How lower can the circus go ?
  16. Extraordinary comeback. Please someone explain me why we were the favourites in today's match. I find it strange. They were without Vardy-Mahrez, we started without Diego-Eden. The starting prices were 4.00-4.00-1.90. When it was 2-2 it was 3.00 for Chelsea goal, 7.50 for Leicester goal. But Leicester -with ten men- missed two point blancs (one save by Begovitch, then a clear header just wide). P.S. the "we know you're not here for the ads" keeps coming up, although I disabled APB for the forum ages ago
  17. Caesc makes it 3-2. If Cahill found his eyeglasses it's over. Leicester down to ten men after Casius Clay punch on Costa.
