Either way, I don't think Lampard will play the entire 90 mins. And you know what it doesn't really matter after thinking about it. Matic is the key there and he is not available. I hope they do well regardless who plays. But definitely a positive game for Luiz and Lampard today. Not the greatest performances but very positive overall. If Mikel is to start he should approach the game with the same heart. We REALLY need it.

Na I checked right now the UEFA website. Only Ramires is suspended. I think Mikel will not start, but I see him subbed in if the match is in our favour.

Now today was for sure a brilliant game for Willian and Salah. Having said that, I have massive faith in Oscar. True he had a dip in form OFFENSIVELY, and that is ok. As I said in other threads, I expect Salah, Schurrle and Hazard to have dips too. They are all very young players and have great potential. I went him to bounce back ASAP. Those young players can create magic together and help to rest each other when needed. And the way they can be combined can just make our game unpredictable because every single one of them brings a different aspect to the game. We need you kid and I have faith you will answer the call.

First of all I voted for Salah to be MOM. But that was just emotionally . I take nothing form Salah though who had a great game. But this man, where do I start. Well, we were coming from two defeats. He did not have much of a rest. We have a game in three days that we need to win. The mental and physical burden is HUGE. And this guy just doesn't care about all this. He was all over the field. Always looking for the ball. If it was with an opponent he try to get. If it was with a teammate he'd show up. He feeds good passes, scored and could have scored more. He was brilliant today. This game was about heart and character and he was not shy all. He just stood up like a man and carried the entire team offensively. Brilliant performance. I am hoping that the next game he does AT LEAST the same. But no doubt I believe he has more. Good luck buddy

Ok objectively speaking now . He had a good game and played well. I don't know if anyone can put a judgement on him yet. I was against people who critcized him after playing less than 45 mins in three matches. So only to be fair I am not going to get too hyped. Today was definitely a great start from him. I am happy for him. I think there is A LOT to still work on. And I think I will need more games from him like this to say he has the right to start regularly. Like Oscar, Schurrle and Hazard he is still young. They all have great potential, and they will go through phases of inconsistencies. I just hope they all keep progressing and reach a high level at their game. I also hope that when one drops in form, the others would maintain theirs. I sure want Oscar to bounce back. These lads will learn a lot from each other and if they progress, their chemistry and link ups will be outstanding.

I have seen a lot of good link up plays this game. Last pass can improve though. I think Willian is showing TONS of character and is stepping up big time. Everyone is doing his job. Just need to finish this off and take it home baby.
