In my view the reason he did it was because United brought on Lingaard and he wanted Pedro on to help Alonso close the left flank because obviously Pedro is a workhorse on defense. Which just makes it even more pathetic. Ironically, Lingaard scored mins after.

Anyway, enough of the Hazard talk. That's a distraction from the real story here which is how Conte is failing with a multi-million pound squad. He's been easily the worst manager of the top 6 clubs this season with the exception of Wenger . This season shows he's been incredibly overrated for last season. Was helped a lot by no European football. This season, he hasn't got a clue what he's doing.

Was Hazard good in the 2nd half, no, he was too passive. But if this is a day off then I wonder what can be said of Morata's performance. Or Sanchez's shit show (who still played more mins than Hazard). The post match discussion of this game should have nothing to do with Hazard if Conte wasn't so stupid. It should be Morata who was beyond terrible, weak and annoying. Yet he played the whole 90 mins while Giroud languished on the bench. Incredible.

He was absolutely wrong to take Hazard off because he can change a game at any time regardless of how he's playing. It's not like we have world class players on our bench. So we're now: (1) 5th in the league. (2) Conte plays an out of form striker for 90 mins who has been playing like a pussy and moaning like a bitch. (3) But subs out his BEST PLAYER in a must win game at 1-1. (4) For fucking Pedro in reaction to a bang average United bringing on the mighty Jesse fucking Lingaard. (5) And Conte manages to make Mourinho look proactive in the 2nd half. This together with several other reasons is why I'm now officially CONTE OUT. I'm just tired of watching fucking boring as shit managers managing my club. Watch us average 25% possession away to City and Barcelona and get battered and abused in both games despite 100 of millions of investment from Abramovich we still play caveman football. Shameful.

There's nothing logical about taking Hazard off in a must win game. He can produce magic at any time. I'm sure you know that. If he wanted to spice up the attack he could have taken Morata off for Giroud. Or he could have taken off Morata for Pedro and brought Giroud on later. This just shows the ridiculousness of the way Conte thinks. Lingaard comes on and he's thinking of bring on Pedro to close the left wing. Pathetic. Morata has been a ghost all game and Willian has been giving the ball away like crazy. In truth we've been tepid in the 2nd half. NEVER take Hazard off in a big game. That's stupid. We don't face City till 6 days from now

He's a tremendous player and I think he's a Chelsea fan. . He was playing as a wingback at the beginning of the season but thankfully he's been reverted back to his original position as a winger. We have to pull out all the stops to try and sign him. Not like I trust this club to do so but he's one of the absolute best young players in the world.

I don't understand the overhyping of the Barcelona performance. "Nearly flawless", maybe this is our new level now. 25% possession and a 1-1 draw at home is far from flawless. This is a multimillion pound squad with a decade plus more of investment. Even Girona just went away to Barcelona and saw more of the ball than we did at home. Anyway, i'm hopeful for the match tomorrow but I won't be surprised if United boss the game and win. Mourinho and Conte will be a battle of who can use the ball less.

We deserved to win the game. It really was a smash and grab away goal by them. Sad.
