Another woeful performance. Trying to be patient with the guy but he offers nothing of substance. Doesn't offer goals, quesitonable positional sense, mediocre passing, cumbersome, slow and sluggish. He'll never be a goalscorer. I just don't see his upside. Just a pointless entity in midfield. But he's apparently Conte's prized signing so he starts all the important games over a more deserving player in Drinkwater.

So are you more impressed by Bakayoko or Morata so far. Judging by your comment you seem to have a bigger issue with Morata than Bakayoko.

I have been calling for a return to the 3-4-3 but I have no problem with the 3-4-3 in this game. Still I'll have liked to see Rudiger instead of Cahill and Drinkwater instead of Bakayoko but Conte was never going to do that.

Some boos at Old Trafford apparently. The fans are turning on him and are tired of the listless, shit-on-a-stick football. Only a matter of time before they stick a fork up in him and get rid. We just have to do our jobs and make sure we finish at least 2nd because he's been using the excuse of "at least my team is 2nd behind only this historically great City team". If it's not Barcelona away or Man City away or some big European game I don't want to see the 3-5-2 anymore. Conte's negative approach cost us against West Ham. Senseless to be so negative when you have the option of Kante and Drinkwater to protect what is already a back 5. Bakayoko is a project right now. He'll have to wait his turn.

Maybe this is the game we finally ditch the 3-5-2, go back to the system that brought us success and maybe only reserve it for difficult away games. Basically exactly what I said in Conte's thread. I've also been asking for more Drinkwater, more Pedro and less Bakayoko and more attackers on the pitch.

This is the first time something decisive has come concerning a transfer from Hazard's camp, his father no less. I don't understand the obsession with Madrid though. There's Barcelona and Bayern. Fuck Madrid. Besides they look to be on the decline. If Hazard does leave next season I don't trust our board to adequately replace him. Our board hasn't shown any capacity to sign the handful of players out there capable of replacing a player like Eden. I think if this does happen we will go the Spurs route with the Gareth Bale money.

Another player who won't really improve us. He's okay but nothing special. At least he can play LWB as he does for Belgium and be a replacement for Alonso though I doubt his defensive acumen

Pedro and Willian played 4 straight games in short window of time. So has Hazard, no? Besides those two players are squad players.They've gone through stretches were they haven't played for weeks. I see no reason why they should be as fatigued as actual first XI players like Hazard, Kante and Cesar. It's just a cheap excuse. Face it Conte is a defense first manager at heart. We're not the only ones with a small squad. Liverpool and Spurs are blowing the weaker teams away because they have attack minded managers

We need to start with more attacking players. There are too many limited players in that XI we started. It's been a while we actually went for a 3-4-3 with Hazard, Morata and Pedro. I want to see that next game

I think it was the early goal we scored. Burnley had to be a bit more proactive after that and it left a bit more space for us to play.
