  1. He deserves to win the POTY over De Bruyne. He's been unbelievable all season and has maintained his level longer than De Bruyne. He's on the verge of an all time Premier league season and will break the Prem record for goals scored in a league season ahead of names like Shearer, Ronaldo and Suarez. Of course it helps him a lot the way Liverpool play football but you can't deny his greatness.
  2. I'm done for the night Jason. This is incredibly frustrating and depressing. Shit shit season. The board and the manager need to take a long long look at themselves. Right now the future of the club looks far from bright. We're a horribly run club.
  3. I can't wait to see the back of him. Thanks for the title after the disastrous final Mou season but i'lll gladly help him back his bags to Turin.
  4. It's 10 times harder to score or look threatening at the Nou Camp than at SB. At Stamford Bridge they started with Paulinho and Iniesta in a 4-4-2 by the wings yet we didn't go for the jugular. It was a very conservative display.
  5. Sorry? I have to disagree with you my friend. It's 10 times harder to get a positive result against Barcelona at Stamford Bridge than at the Nou Camp. They barely left 2nd gear and beat us 3-0.Let's not forget Barcelona were not really that special at SB but how many times did we commit men to the attack or high press them? Only sparingly. Sadly you've been decieved by Conte's post match propaganda.
  6. No one is talking about advancing. Of course ddefensive individual mistakes are not his fault but he has a LOT of the blame. Conte is to blame for the way we approached the game in the 1st leg. He's mostly to blame for our terrrible season. In the 1st leg we have 25% possession at home and a couple of speculative long distance shots and so many people have been deluded into believing that was a great performance. Conte even said it was almost perfect. He needs to be sacked for his shit mentality and negative, dour football. He basically deflated the team after the City debacle.
  7. We didn't have the quality to do anything in attack. We basically lost the game at Stamford Bridge. We should have used the same approach in this game at Stamford Bridge but Conte was in awe of Barcelona and was telling us we're going to have to "suffer". At home.
  8. Get this fraud out of the club. Watch him try and spin a 3-0 loss to something positive. Ever since he decided to be a coward vs City and not even play he seemed to lose half of the dressing room.
  9. I'm sure Conte will try and spin the 3-0 in a positive way. Fucking fraud.
  10. if you hit the post its because you weren't accurate enough. Most of those shots were speculative long rangers. We don't have the quality or right coach to be able to create anything meaningful in our attacking play.
  11. when he plays well in big games is always the exception to the rule. He even fucks up the fundamentals in big games. Typical Cesc
  12. This is a moment of truth for everyone involved at the club
  13. did you see the football his teams played in those semifinals or to get there? He literally parked the bus with the most expensively assembled team ever and went out of his way to injure Barcelona players. No one remembers those teams for football reasons other than their thuggish play. And the 2013/14 run he had with us was one of the most uninspiring in Champions league history. The Ancelotti goes there and with more of less the same core wins the Champions league. Then Zidane does the same, both playing much better football. He literally fluked a win against PSG with a lucky Ba goal despite creating virtually nothing and parked the bus in the semi's against a Simeone team for 90 minutes That's what i mean by irrelevant.
  14. This Sevilla loss was very similar to our loss in the Champions league vs PSG in 2015. Park the bus like crazy in Paris and look clueless with the ball in London. Mourinho has been irrelevant in Europe for almost a decade now (since 2010 precisely). Have no idea how this guy is still in hot demand and considered "one of the best". If not for his impressive marketing team and good agent i'm sure as hell he won't.
  15. Maureen is at it again LMAO. He'll be out of the door next season 100% Hard to believe this loon was given a new contract by the daft United board. But I guess its just more compensation money for him and his agent Mendes.
  16. I disagree, we're horrendous. Notice this is concerning the big games only. So against teams like Spurs, Liverpool and City we can't pass out from the back. In some of these games in the past we basically by-passed midfield by thumping it up to our striker. We did that against Liverpool earlier this season. We did the same against Spurs. We could barely string passes together from the back against City in both games. Last season was the same as well. We made a comedy of errors trying to pass from the back in our 3-1 win at the Etihad. We are a bit better under Conte than Mourinho because he at least considers that aspect of the game. It's just that like Mourinho he does a terrible job at it against equally skilled teams when it actually matters the most.
  17. Same thing with Mourinho's Chelsea. In truth we've always been awful at building from the back. These teams have managers that can coach how to beat a high press by passing out from the back. Right now we have Rudiger, Christensen and Azpilicueta. No excuse in Conte's inability to be able to coach this team to adequately pass out from the back. We also need another deep lying playmaker to help Fabregas make it easier to beat the press when he drops deep with the centre backs to try and make forward passes. Fabregas is our only playmaking midfielder capable of seeing the pitch and making quick incisive passes. But he's slow and susceptible to the high press of coaches like Guardiola, Pochettino and Klopp. But the coaching aspect comes before the personnel aspect in my opinion.
  18. I don't really have a lot of time for Keys and Gray but they're spot on here
  19. He still hasn't adapted to parking the bus for 90 mins "football". It requires a great deal of concentration. A lot of pressure to ask a young CB to defend for 90 mins against Barcelona and Man City
  20. Maybe becuase they acted as auxillary fullbacks which is what Conte and managers with his mentality fantasize about. They hate natural talent and flair but love the workhorse mentality. Conte is the gift that keeps on giving right now with his comments.
