  1. Jardim at Monaco. Tuchel. Nagelsmann. Dardai. This club needs a young, enteprising manager that prioritizes attacking football and youth. Even if its a risk, its a risk worth taking. We need a complete overhaul of our mentality and approach. I'm just fed up of watching dire, horrid "football" while some of our rivals with supposedly lesser resources play much better than us.
  2. Once we get battered by Barcelona, he'll be booted out by our disastrous board. He might even be booted out tomorrow morning. He deserves it for being clueless himself. Losing 7-1 to Bournemouth and Watford..... How is that even possible? With the way we operate now our future is in doubt. We're not getting top 4 this season as well. After a very easy run of fixtures we're still barely hanging on to 4th. No top 4 this season will be an absolute disaster. We're trying to expand Stamford Bridge but is it worth it to be penny penching with this sell to buy policy if we're not in the Champions league for the 2nd time in 3 seasons? We're going to be losing a shit ton of money.
  3. I'll always love Eden Hazard. Remarkable player and man. Once he leaves next summer we are well and truly fucked.
  4. Imagine losing 7-1 on aggregate to Watford and Bournemouth lol.
  5. Cahill is just a comical figure in this team. Absolute trash
  6. Because he's the one who picks the players? After that 0-3 at home to Bournemouth, to pick the same team is a derilection of duty. The team looks disjointed and unbalanced. Hazard at false 9 (whatever the fuck that means) with Giroud on the bench, Bakayoko, Cahill. It's Conte's fault. Even the random fan on twitter knew this was a bad line-up for this game. Conte gets paid millions of pounds a year to make these basic decisions.
  7. It will be peak Conte not to make a change at half-time.
  8. Mike Dean just couldn't wait to send him off , the b*stard . I could see the joy on his face. SMH
  9. Literally the worst performance in Chelsea history. I'm actually laughing my ass off at this it's been that hilarious.
  10. The false 9 might be a bit better away from home with more spaces in behind to exploit but if Chelsea don't pick up all 3 points after all this Conte will get savaged and rightly so. Cahill and Bakayoko starting leaves me speechless. Comical at this point. Conte is showing that his decisions have nothing to do with meritocracy.
  11. Conte didn't trust him at all. By continually benching him for non-strikers he didn't give him any confidence whatsoever. I'm not suggesting Batshuayi is this world class number 9 by any means but he's way better than many people give him credit for. He had an impressive goals:games ratio for us.
  12. Can't really say I'm surprised if he becomes a really good player in Dortmund. That will only further highlight Conte's bad judgement. He treated Batshuauyi like crap to the extent that he played non-strikers ahead of him, which finally came home to roost in the 0-3 home loss to Bournemouth.
  13. I'm really bored to death of watching "counter-attacking" football and defending deep in big games with sporadic forays into the opponents box. Who is willing to be this is what we see against Barcelona in both legs and City? It's so predictable and lame at the same time.
  14. Another black mark on Conte's record that has been beat to death already is that he never plays or trusts youth players. Whether its Loftus-Cheek, Chalobah, Musonda, Ake. All he wants to do is spend, spend, spend. Well guess what, this isn't 2005 anymore. Those days of Roman's largesse are long gone. The only time he plays young players is in the dying minutes of games or when he has no other choice to do so. The only reason he's playing Christensen is because he fell out with Luiz and Christensen had already gotten his experience in Germany. Conte is not a risk taker at all and has no faith in our academy. Another black mark is the awful football. I can count on one hand the amount of games I've enjoyed watching this season. If Conte was able to produce the football a Klopp is doing with Liverpool rn, even if we were 4th, we will chuck it down as a transitional season. There will be very very few complaining. So again it's the same complaints we had under Mourinho.
  15. That's not really a surprise. His usefulness or lack thereof is usually felt the most when we face sides we actually have to attack.
  16. He's been my favourite youth player for about a year and half now or about a year. I've always compared him to Dembele. He reminds me a lot of him. Their playing styles are pretty similar.
