With Hazard we have depth, without him the squad looks thin. What is this black magic? Mourinho has to keep everyone pumped.

PSG won't pick Cavani over the other world class striker they have, not yet at least but they squeeze him in. If the rumor about Roman halting any efforts made to sign Costa because he wants Cavani are true, that could be the deal breaker. RA would be essentially favoring him over another heavily sought after striker that would be much less of a pain in the ass to aquire. I think at least it would put Cavani in a position where he gives the PSG an ultimatum in choosing between Ibrah and he. No way is Roman accredited with the Drogba transfer, get out of town! Abramovich wanted Ronaldinho and he said he could do it. You forget Drogba was a bit of a late bloomer. Mourinho was the one who said no-way-jose to the idea of Ronaldinho and Abramovic to spend big on Drogba. Roman stirred the Hazard transfer however so respect where its due. Roman had Drogba call Gervinho who was playing at Lille and had him pass the phone to Eden, Drogba passed the from to Roman who said “I don't know how much you earn at Lille, but I will triple your salary". Other than Hazard I'm not sure of any transfers where Roman played a pivotal role other than giving things the okay or a big 'negative' (like when Ancelotti tried to sell Drogba). Roman trusts Mourinho or else I think he would not have been okay with rebuying Matic if we had any other manager than the special one.

Mad respect for Roman if we sign Cavani. I'll get the name Abramovich on a shirt if Cavani is playing for Chelsea at the start of the season.

As long as his massive nut sack is still mobile we're good.

But Liverpool want to say their first BPL league win was legit, they don't want it tarnished by people saying it was handed to them.

Toughest son of a bitch ever. He eats rocks for breakfast.

Moses is garbage i don't want him on our team for anything.

Do you say 'us' or 'we' when talking about Chelsea?
BloodIsBlue replied to Beepu's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I think this point should be noted by the English supporters more than anyone but, under this new FFP dictatorship do you really think anyone can afford a star studded squad with massive support from international markets? From the home and away supporters watching at the pitch to the guy in Malaysia buying a Chelsea shirt, support is needed in various ways, we deserve to say 'we' and 'us'. I feel a lot of players look at it that way too, the club needs us more than we need them really. -
I think a deal where Ramires heads back to Benfica and Rodrigo comes to the Bridge would be brilliant!

I don't know how I accepted the Sunderland loss so easily when it happened but I'm feeling sick right about now. Gutted.

If we allow it to continue we also play into the FA's little bullshit game.

It doesn't matter. -
Expectations aren't high. I don't think we will go with a total kid squad (and be trolls) but it won't be full strength, the bench might have Luiz, Oscar, and Willian but it might have another kid. We might not play both Ake and Kalas but one looks likely. They just have to go out there and defend their tits off. Against Suarez and Sturridge inside the squad that could potentially start at Anfield its only fair to overlook some of their errors.

If we sell Luiz away there goes most of the heart in this team. We don't need the money piss off.

Is Chelsea The Most Hated Club In Europe?
BloodIsBlue replied to Spike's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Don't kid yourselves we are the most hated club to ever exist. For every supporter we have in this world there is 100 haters. People who no matter what our team does or becomes will always keep repeating the same rhetoric. I won't bother to win over any of these cunts they can suck a dick. It doesn't matter if its the league or Europe, the closer we get to the top the more people bind together to hate on us. It comes from all angles, opposing teams, the media and the overall online community are all consistently trying to take a dump of Chelsea. I couldn't care less, I love the 'us against the world' feeling, come on Chelsea! -
I wouldn't blame him for flocking to the 100k/week deal, I would do it too. We're not selling Luiz!

It was a massive counter chance wasted while we were 1-1. Willian got caught in the thought of shooting, passing behind a defender to Eto'o or passing infront of the other defender to Salah. The right pass should have can much earlier to Salah. Eto'o is the striker however and Willian being right footed instinctually passed to the guy on his left. Easy for us to criticize from our seats or whatever when the defense isn't closing in around you.

I can understand why this needs to thought over carefully but its not an easy decision, Mourinho might be bluffing about the league. Even though at this point I wouldn't bet on us to win the league it would be mighty unprofessional of us to just give up on a game like Liverpool at Anfield. Ever since Pulis came in trips to Selhurst Park have been sobering events for every club. If they can derail City and Liverpool for us we would feel like clowns throwing away Sunday's game, fielding some weak as piss team. I'm serious Bolasie from the left and Puncheon from the right is going require focus from any team, the way Pulis have those two set up at least. We have to be considerate of fitness for Atletico but we should go out 'guns a blazing' in the league.
-
Like I've been saying, he doesn't have the world class dribbling and shooting to simply do things on his own. He's superb at coming through in those critical moments but today he just didn't have it. Don't expect a Suarez or Aguero type with him.
-
I hope he does it again!
-
No, our only chance is to demoralize Liverpool before they face Palace.
-
Who does Costa think he is talking smack to JT at the beggining of the match?
-
You play right footed left back to invite the cross and resist the inverted run. Ivanovic isn't quick enough to quell the inverted run so they'll just be making him look like a pylon. With Azpi, he's quick enough to stamp out the inverted run and if lets in the cross we have essentially a third center-back there to defend. We are playing lopsided defense with of LB/RB and it works until you put the slower guy on the left side because they are both right footed. Even as RB Ivanovic always, always, always lets people cross over him now imagine he had to stop crosses with his left foot? I never ever want to see Ivanovic on the left side, I will not watch. We can only have fullbacks going forward if the defense has no holes and the leftback position with Ivanovic would be a black hole!
