  1. He did ask us to pay him 13.9m a year so the pansy can just leave because his fragile knees and ego has cost us enough. EDIT: Reacted so fast to this comment I didn't realize i was the third person in a row to say the exact same thing.
  2. MLS is a fluid league it's changing, they want more DP spots and they want to be involved in creating US nationals more. Julian's 3 yr contract length also shows Bayern's moderate faith in him, which is normal. With the salary cap it's obviously not able to cater to the more elite youth but they are looking to develop youth. The salary cap will slowly keep growing but they want to isolate the league from Europe for a bit while it still grows. I'm glad Julian chose USA over Germany, the sport needs to grow here in North America. Julian Green can help that he could end up being the most exciting US player ever, maybe not the best but exciting to watch he should however it doesn't mean he is that great (or good enough to play on Chelsea).
  3. Ramires better than Bradley, and I don't like to say Ramires is better than anyone. Bradley definitley has some qualities Ramires wishes he had but Rambo can be explosive like no other b2b in the world. Playing Ramires on the same team as hazard is a shame, playing Bradley on the same team as Hazard is tragedy. What an 18 year old that we haven't seen too much from? He's a prospect for sure but he's got a lot of hype because he's on Bayern and they will probably just use him by selling him to an MLS team for good $$$.
  4. Honestly guys don't be naive, you were very deluded if though thought he had anything but a tiny outside chance at signing Cavani. This could be the story with Costa so we need to relax and just keep watching, I just hope we have some options come the summer. Worst case scenario is Lukaku gets a pretty big role at the club.
  5. The problem is that the people writing these articles aren't football supporters much less Chelsea supporters.
  6. WTF Stop overrating American players. Hazard is worth more than the entire USMNT put together, let that sink in. He's the best player on Toronto and he's a quick thinker who will scrap at every chance for the ball that's ture. There are a lot of other b2b types that are better, I'd take Jordan Henderson over Bradley and I don't really want Hendo on the team. Bradley has a lot of nice qualities but we need to looking from even more technical qualities from our b2b as Bradley is only marginally better (technically) than Ramires.
  7. I like a collar on my kits but not with the pattern on this kit. The stripes are a bit too immature I would say and it would clash with the look of the collar too much, I'd love a simple collar like the ones on the new Greece kits next year maybe. I usually never get names but Hazard 10 sounds nice.
  8. United is a serious business, they make profits so if they wanted to they could easily spend 100m and still be well with FFP. Glazer however has investors to satisfy (Arsenal are in the same boat as they can spend huge without breaking FFP) but City, PSG and Monaco are more like us but I'm sure we make more money than any of those 3.
  9. Salesmen, these vermin are the most vile byproduct of capitalism. I won't even feel bad dumping this fairy on another team .
  10. Surely somebody has the balls to tell Roman this is stupid.
  11. The guy has a ridiculous salary, why does the team have to cater to his delicate little ego. I know a striker's fuel is his ego but he isn't a 20 year Lukaku, he's 30 years old and can't handle the truth.
  12. I like it, similar to the Portugal home kit which looks a lot better watching it than in still pics. I'm going to miss his year's white socks but I like the lion on the sock it's decent. I really like that blue bar though, kind made your leg look stocky and muscular.
  13. Our boy Lucas getting some recognition as second best teenage footballer according to the Gazzeta dello Spot. I'll post the whole list I'm sure someone is interested. Zouma made the list as well as 16th. I wouldn't mind seeing a few of these guys maybe playing for us in future they would be Deulofeu, Berardi, Rabiot and of course Shaw.
  14. I don't care who plays, but we better look like this...
  15. My point was that you made your point about the fullbacks moments before I wanted to...
  16. Poor Dortmund fans they don't want to hold on to anyone do they, I wonder if Barca-Dortmund will strike up a deal to not sell him to anyone else.
  17. There's a lot that could be done but none of it that easily BlueLyon, I literally came here to talk about how we set up or full backs. If there is one problem I have it is this and how Ivanovic cannot give enough to play RB, he's too slow. I think if Hazard-Oscar-Willian had longer legs and were better runners they would manage all that space but they are not and they need the LB/RB to do the work near the center line so they can receive the ball further up the pitch. I hate seeing Hazard or Willian waiting for a ball at the center (or in our half) when they could be 20 or more yards or more into the other half. If we restrict the space Hazard-Oscar-Willian work in it also allows them to freely rotate flipping the opposition on it's head as they man marking goes to shit, that rotation can be a bit more taxing with all the space so Hazard has only been allowed to roam lately, you also said in another post somewhere that you think Hazard is ruined by tracking back, I have to disagree he hasn't done much of it in 2014.
  18. Cavani 70-75m (It's a totally groundless estimate by me but they probably won't sell him at all) + Mandzukic 25m = 95-100m. What about getting a leftback and someone better to play next to Matic so we can play some regular football?
  19. Tinkering with Hazard-Oscar-Willian is unnecessary. The team does a disservice to the trio is so many ways. Because we play Azpi on the left and Ivanovic, the trio is so spread out and pushed very far. You see Hazard and Willian wating on the side in places I expect my LB and RB to. The pitch becomes too big when in certain games Ivanovic is told pretty much not to cross the center line. There's is just too much pitch for the three to manage especially when Torres or Ba is out there, it's a lot to ask of the three. We need an all around left-back to get Azpi back on the right. They also have Ramires playing behind him who has been embarrassing lately. We can bring in Atsu because he has quality but to either shuffle around the part of our team or spend more money on the attacking mid is a waste of time. We could use 2 CM's especially when Mikel, Lamps, Ramires and Luiz either aren't cutting it anymore or look like they will sacrificed for funds. The market for CM's isn't that bad either with guys like Pjanic, Khedira, Marchisio, Kovacic, Gundogan (risky), Bender, Rakitic and obviously more that I didn't mention possibly available (though we've been linked to a kid named Imbula). Ramires isn't enough of a footballer to link up with the likes Oscar-Hazard-Willian and Lamps doesn't have the legs to keep up with them. I think we need to buy two big strikers for less than 60m, I am expecting to see all of our strikers leaving at the end of the season. I think Lukaku and Bamfordinho should come with us as well. Insurance never hurts and we need those English players to be legit for rules sake so Bamford as a fourth makes sense.
  20. Torres is a the spoiled one, if 13m a year isn't enough motivation what else is?
  21. I've tried really hard to believe what he has to offer is good, but he keeps proving to everyone that he is a problem. He's just not enough of a footballer, you have guys like Jordan Henderson that have been branded as just a runner in the past but if you compare him to our Ramires, Hendo is practically Messi compared to the technical skill of Ramires. He dribbles right into people instead of away from them (because he does not have fine control of the ball) and the guy can't pass for anything. I used to love Ramires' runs across the midfield but he can't seem to do that anymore without losing the ball.
  22. Release clause means nothing at all especially when they guy changed his nationality to Spanish, I think that is a big deal and the President of Atletico has said so many times Diego is staying. Even Brendan Rodgers knew to stay away after offering triple his wages and getting turned down. We could probably offer him way more than triple his wages but is that what he wants and Atletico are surely going to give him a better contract. Southampton's board has come out saying their financial situation is difficult but has said if Pochettino wants to keep Lallana, Shaw and Rodriguez than he will. It makes perfect sense if they want to do just as well next season. Shaw particularly doesn't need to be cashed in on this transfer window or in any of the upcoming ones as he is still 18, so they could easily turn down the money and potentially ask for more money in January or summer 2015.
