I honestly can't get my head around how they've gone unscathed (so far) despite that.
-
All of their goals were poor/questionable. Also, I still don't understand how Taylor was demoted weeks ago yet was given one of the biggest games of the season. The FA are beyond a joke.
-
Fighting back from a losing position TWICE against arguably the best side around is worth applauding. However, I might be alone in this, but I feel like we really should have taken all three points. Undefeated against Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Man City. The right signs are there.
-
How was he left unmarked? Hard work thrown away in one moment.
-
Huge save from Sanchez. We need to take these chances, as City are all over the place defensively.
-
Just like that! Great to see us punish City's mistakes.
-
It feels like an age since we last scored from a corner. Let's build on the equaliser now.
-
Another game where I have hope of us getting a win if we take our chances. That's the worry I have, as it's clear create a hatful during the game. I'd say Badi instead of Diasi would have been a better call.
-
I saw that, but I honestly thought it was made up, as I hadn't heard of it before. For some reason, my mind went to the term milestone from FIFA years ago.
-
I'm with you. If we look at the game as a whole, he could & should have probably had five or a double hattrick.
-
The bolded stands out for me. Aside from the opening 7-8 mins, we were the better side, had two goals ruled offside (second one still seemed extremely harsh). We've played three sides fighting for Top 4 and arguably been the better side in all three games, which is a small positive in itself. It will be interesting to see who turns up against City, though.
-
It says something when one of our players scores a hattrick, yet most of us are still probably disappointed with him.
-
The commentators have the nerve to say, "it's not a good night for VAR". What planet are they on?
-
We have to get a third ASAP.
-
They need to realise it's a team game. We finally make the most of the two man advantage.
-
Either our players are extremely greedy or lack any awareness. We could have scored at least two more goals had our players been aware of who's around them.
-
Jackson ain't it. January come to our rescue.
-
So much is going on. I'd say we'll pay for missing these changes, if Spurs weren't down to nine men. Mudryk on to feast!
-
Imagine having a dominate presence at CF (Osimhen....) to make the most of James' crosses.
-
We need to be careful not to overcommit, as there's no reason to. If Tottenham continue to persist with this high line, it's only a matter of time until we get a key chance that's ONSIDE. Mudryk would have a field day, as things stand.
-
CF or not, he should be passing that to tie things up.
-
Awful start. I just don't like Colwill playing at LB. Square pegs...
-
Similar to the Arsenal game, I have hope we'll be able to get the win should we deliver. I'm just hoping we don't shoot ourselves in the foot once again.
-
Sanchez shouldn't be starting. This would have been the perfect opportunity to see what Petrovic is made of.
-
Recruitment. That's the one thing that comes to mind. Lack of adequate options when players get injured and don't get me started on the CF situation.
