I'd have to agree. Kane & Osimhen are the only options that are worth pursing, and with neither likely to join, we'd be better off sticking with what we have. I just see pace. If that front line comes up against a physical defence, I see the same problems remaining. Spending almost £100m on unproven strikers (IMO) over a reliable one would sum up our transfer dealings.

We gave a number of academy players a chance while we were transfer banned, and only James has shown he's up to the task. If they can't step up or deliver on a regular basis, there isn't much more we can do.
