  1. We can't even say we've been unlucky over the last two games. Second best by a long stretch against two sides that are extremely poor, which says everything about our current predicament. This rinse-and-repeat cycle needs to stop at some point. Get a manager that actually has a voice and a CV that's worth mentioning.
  2. Just have a look at this post match comments. If you have a manager who's content with dross, you can't expect much else from the players.
  3. I never believed he was. His claim to fame is "getting close" with a Tottenham side.
  4. If we can't turn this around, Poch's position has to be in question. He can't build any consistency.
  5. I do have to wonder what our midfield really offers most of the time. Enzo just isn't an 8 for me.
  6. No other reasonable explanation. Back to square one defensively.
  7. I'm pleased Poch has finally decided to make a change up top, but Sanchez keeps his place after his last performance. This is why we're a mess, as some players can literally get away with anything and still retain their place.
  8. And somehow, he was voted the player of the tournament too 😄
  9. If Villa keep backing Emery, they could become serious threats.
  10. It's been like that for seasons, unfortunately. I'm not disputing that. Just stating that United gave us chances to inflict even more misery on them.
  11. Or taken their chances? We were dire, but we had more than enough chances to better the two goals United scored.
  12. If we have any sense (Todd & co don't), we'll stay well clear of players from the Eredivisie.
  13. He played for a dire Southampton side and has even played twenty league games for us. Not to mention, he's only 22 to boot. I never once said either were good enough long-term (been calling out Osimhen's name before he even moved to Lille), but Broja is the lesser of the two evils and has a presence. Tbh, it's beyond draining going on about the CF position at this point. Look at their CL position in one of the easiest groups. People can pick and choose what to look at.
  14. One can finish. I'll let you figure out which one.
  15. Broja and Jackson on together. That's not asking for trouble at all.
  16. If Sanchez isn't dropped after this game, I'm honestly going to be pushing for a managerial change. His performance has been that bad.
  17. Colwill at LB. I hate this nonsense.
  18. The AFCON can't come soon enough. Get Broja on ASAP.
  19. He has similar pace and directness and can dribble. Mudryk clearly has the tools to excel at the top level, but it will depend on his application on the field rather than in the gym alongside whoever's managing us. Just to point out, my view is going back from when he made his CL debut in the qualifiers for Shakhtar. The entire Napoli squad has gone down a peg this season. KK recently scored his first league goal since Feb IIRC. Leao is the goal threat we should be after if we can even afford to make any substantial moves in the foreseeable future.
  20. If he's managed properly, he'll have a similar rise to Salah. I see the same things about him that were passed upon when the latter was at the club.
  21. City wanted Cucu and Arsenal wanted Mudryk. They're hardly Southampton standard targets. I do get the point you're trying to make, but we have adjusted our transfer targets from big names.
  22. Football for you. In a game where we've been battered, we could be going into HT 3-1 up. Palmer is the one player that has something about him.
  23. Half of the Prem wanted Caicedo, half of Europe wanted Enzo. This narrative needs to be dropped.
  24. Jackson and Mudryk. PL calibre players score both chances with ease.
