It was only a matter of time with the way we've been playing. We haven't been threatening, and Disasi was sleeping minutes before, which he clearly didn't learn from.
-
How on earth is that deemed a fair attempt to win the ball?! I honestly hate officials in this country.
-
I was about to post something similar. He's making this team tick. Just wondering where Nkunku will play when he returns, CF?
-
That should have been an easy 4-0 victory, but instead we threw away our hard work for 75 minutes and decided to play keep-ball. We only have ourselves to blame.
-
I'm in agreement. The lack of consistency in this league is the reason such calls are deemed in such a way.
-
Tell me about it. The commentary I'm listening to calling the decision "harsh". Some people are honestly clueluess.
-
It's nice to see a reliable PK taker. The fact it took VAR that long to make the call is pathetic, though.
-
Not to forget our recent record against Arsenal as well (long gone are the days of turning up and getting the three points). Let's hope home support plays a part. Enzo's finishing..................
-
This constant battle with injuries on a weekly basis is becoming too much. I actually had some hope prior to seeing the line up, but after seeing no CF, it's faded considerably.
-
Spoke too soon. The Scot is brought his INT form.
-
We've finally delivered on our expected goals stat. Credit to Sterling after the first 15 minutes. Clearly, the standout performer and hopefully our highest-paid player can make a habit of this.
-
Passing around with little intent. Burnley actually want to attack us and reap the rewards.
-
I'm pleased to see Broja start, but I'm worried he isn't fully fit and is being rushed back due to Jackson's lack of discipline.
-
So many missed opportunities.
-
There's always something to kill off any excitement.
-
I was just as shocked to see.
-
He should have been made a priority years ago. It's shameful how Napoli have treated him, and I'd be surprised to see him still at the club come January (regardless of the AFCON). It feels like a never-ending story where we're concerned. I can probably count the number of successful loans on one hand over the past couple of seasons. He'd probably had more game time by now on loan at Barca, which says everything.
-
The moment James gets injured, we lose hope. It's the sad reality of the past few seasons.
-
Why did Silva dive in? The moment he did that, I knew we'd concede.
-
We're at home, in dire need of a win, and need to play on the counter. Taking our biggest threat off makes no sense whatsoever. Questions have to start being asked at this point.
-
I can't believe Mudryk was the one to be sacrificed. Playing for the draw (will be a miracle).
-
Two starters missing for our next match. Time and time again...
-
I haven't seen anything like that outside of CAF. Beyond amateurish. On to the game - Mudryk has been doing his thing, but Jackson isn't doing him any favours. Broja has to come on sooner rather than later if we don't score. Sanchez deserves praise too for keeping Villa out.
-
We need to start taking our chances and actually build some momentum. I am pleased to see Broja back, as Jackson clearly needs some competition.
-
I'd have to disagree to some extent. We need more than decent to actually have a chance of even challenging for Top 4, let alone honours. Most on this board knew that one notable attacking signing wasn't enough; it's just a shame those making the decisions were oblivious to that. I'm not disputing that, but he was at least someone with pedigree.
