I think them winning the CL days before has added more truth to the rumour. They have more money to play with now. Either way, I am sure they are after him.

Neither am I, but it's all we have. Normally these things have SOME truth in them, regardless of how little it may be.

I agree that he is a great CB. I don't know if he would be a automatic starter, but has the ability to be the best CB in the world. He is also a threat from set pieces.

It is like that in a lot of countries. Look at Park Chu Young from Arsenal. Most people get a way out of it, but not always.
