I'm all for letting attackers go, but I'm still yet to see any concrete information about replacements for them. We can't let CHO, Werner & Ziyech go without anyone coming in. It's crazy to see he's earning that much to begin with. I'm sure his base wage will be similar to Sterling's with performance bonuses to make him our highest earner were he to join.

If we're really that desperate, signing Ronaldo should be a no-brainer.
-
It's kind of alarming how few have managed to hit the ground running. Dzeko is the only name that comes to mind from the get go, whilst Son has found his feet after a few seasons under his belt.

As I clearly stated, two of the three forwards were "prolific" before joining us & Morata had decent numbers too. Whether they flopped or not has nothing to do with us not signing players. United have been without an actual top-quality CF for years, and using one of the best players of this generation to justify them striking gold is hilarious. To add to that, CR7 has all but left, so who's their quality CF you alluded to, Martial? With regards to Arsenal, Aubameyang's goal return over the last two seasons was 14 in 43 league games. He started off well, but went downhill & Arsenal only had Lacazette to rely on. Now, going back to your original post, who's the quality CF in their ranks now, Jesus, whose goal return is 17 in 57 EPL games? I don't think I need to say anything to debunk your "Big 6" statement. Conte got rid of the gold we found. The lack of decent scouts is why we've failed to sign another Drogba, Costa or even an Anelka. If we sign a CF that is stylistically a good fit for how we play, chances are he'll thrive.

For starters, Morata, Werner, and Lukaku come to mind. They were effective in their own right, but were never good choices to come here, and most people watching from afar knew that. Secondly, when did Arsenal & United find this magical number 9? Are you referring to Lacazette and Cavani? Finally, 8-9 goals from our highest paid player? All things considered, Sterling has to be hitting double figures with ease.

Are Everton just picking the scraps up from Burnley? He would be the third player to switch sides.
-
I'll take away the positive: we won. There are still the same glaring issues, especially in front of goal. Broja really should have been in tonight's squad, as we certainly can't be reliant on those that started upfront.

He's been unfairly ribbed during most of his time here. He could have been a decent option a few seasons ago, but that ship has sailed. They're in desperate need of players, so I'd expect them to sign one of them permanently and take Gilmour on loan.
-
Everton are in talks to sign Michy on a permanent basis. It will be good to have some players gone for good, but there's no doubt he'll offer a decent return with consistent minutes.
-
Surprise, surprise. Do people still think this is the exact same situation as Raphinha?
-
I'm really not a fan of James at RCB unless we were signing someone of Hakimi's calibre. It will nullify a large part of his game.
-
He'd be a smart buy & is someone I've talked about for a few seasons now. In all honesty, there are a number of Atalanta players that would fit perfectly.
-
His numbers were worse than Salah's, he was coming off an awful spell at Arsenal and was a number of years older. There isn't much of a comparison. Also, the last bit is wrong - he scored 43 (32 in EPL) in all comps for Liverpool and 43 (35 in Serie A) during his time in Italy.

Haven't we been doing that? Kepa was meant to be superb with the ball. How's that working out? How exactly have United "improved significantly"? They bought a relatively unknown Dutch youngster, their two best players have left/want to leave & they've bought Blind 2.0 Salah was involved in 13 goals in 26 games whilst on loan at Fiorentina and 56 goals in 81 games at Roma. If that's "nothing special" in your book, I'm not sure what to say.
-
He's had niggling injuries throughout his career that have kept him out for a number of months at a time, so I'm sure they will eventually get the better of him & he won't have the longevity of some players, as you alluded to.
-
A pipe dream that's never going to happen. The only club I can see him joining now, with City covered in that position, is Utd. They'll happily pay stupid money next season.
-
Muriel. He is tailor-made for how we play and would happily play the role of impact sub, if Havertz can find his shooting boots.
-
He's doing the negotiations & he's the reason behind the club being unable to make moves until after the window had opened? There's nothing equal about it. Sometimes I'm lost for words when reading posts.
-
I'd take a look at Mæhle tbh. He is a decent option that could play on either side & reasonably priced. We have to start doing astute business going forward instead of buying unknowns or going big for subpar players.
-
If his recent comments are anything to go by, you never know.
-
"Free transfers" that are meant to make us money in the long run are doing the exact opposite. Boehly has a big job on his hands to sort this mess.
-
I know this might be a year out, but I find it hard to believe he got an £86k wage increase after his loan spell at Porto (?). What is Malang Sarr's Salary Per Week? | Salary Sport
-
There's supposedly friction between him and some other players for a few reasons, including wage differences. Danjuma certainly would. The lack of consist goalscorers in this team in frightening.
-
He just joined PSG

Our little spell didn't last long. It's crazy to see the number of players that are out of their depth during this preseason.
