  1. That's incorrect - Video Assistant Referees Red Card Decisions Explained | VAR | Premier League
  2. Aren't straight red offences under the same bracket? I'm sure there has to have been a decision where the ref saw nothing which resulted in a straight red. Either that or the EPL has changed up the ruleset even more.
  3. I thought it was the total opposite. Doesn't VAR get involved and informs the ref of something he ought to look at (reason the ref waited before the second corner was taken and was clearly having a conversation with VAR)? I'd love to be proven wrong, though.
  4. No one is excusing Jorgi, but I don't understand this train of thought in the slightest. VAR gave a no call on Cucu being dragged to the floor. Two or five hundred wrongs don't make a right. To sum it up, Tottenham earned a point due to refereeing decisions.
  5. Just look at @Vesper post - Richarlison was offside & obstructing Mendy's view. Jorgi's mistake shouldn't have even mattered when all was said & done. Rules are supposedly in place to be followed all the time.
  6. VAR isn't the same everywhere, as the final call comes down to interpretation. Also, I'm sure if I looked hard enough, I could find information that states the way VAR is used is exactly the same across the continent. You might have a point, but what's the reason behind both of Spurs' goals? Did we give them two goals?
  7. You're talking about VAR in another country. EPL has had it for years, and those who use it still struggle to do so effectively or at all at times.
  8. There are no consequences for refs having horrendous afternoons unless they've been newly promoted, so this sort of thing will continue to happen. I hate it as much as you, but nothing is going to change in the immediate future. A total clearout should have been done years ago. It was supposedly "a different phase of play," so too far gone to review. There's literally no point in technology when those behind it are clueless.
  9. One less body to deal with makes a difference
  10. It's getting tiresome that such calls are what we're complaining about instead of what you mentioned. No decent attacker should ever miss chances like Havertz did.
  11. Do away with VAR. It's useless in this country
  12. Just when Kante was building some momentum. His age is really catching up with him.
  13. Look what happens when you move James back into his main position.
  14. Get Broja on, so we can finish the game with an actual vocal point.
  15. Tuchel makes the change ONCE we've conceded. Will this ever stop?
  16. The officiating is something else in this country, but I'm livid with Jorgi. Clear it!!!
  17. James at RCB & RLC ahead of him is such a waste. Get Maehle in ASAP.
  18. I'm not interested in listening to countless rumours about the ins and outs. If we did end up signing Auba, that would be case closed on the matter.
  19. We're talking about the French league, so don't go overboard. Let's see what happens when the CL rolls around.
  20. It's been the case for years. Mou brought it to light more than most & look what happened. However, it's hard to complain about the result when he fielded what is probably the weakest midfield we'll see this season.
  21. We need a CF and he fits the build. Also, as I stated, Ronaldo potentially joining or not will say a lot about who's ultimately making the final call.
  22. The jury is still out on who's making the all-important calls. If Ronaldo joins, it will be telling.
  23. Rangnick is still pulling the strings, I see.
  24. I have no idea why we haven't pulled the trigger on Maehle . A far better option than both of them & would cost less. It should be a resounding no. The whole situation around his FA Cup final absence should be reason enough.
