  1. Chelsea Results in the last 2 seasons under Mourinho against the so-called "top" teams (in all comps): Arsenal: 3W, 1D, 0L. 10GS, 0GA. Everton: 2W, 0D, 1L. 7GS, 4GA. Liverpool: 4W, 1D, 0L. 8GS, 4GA. Man City: 2W, 2D, 1L. 5GS, 5GA. Man Utd: 1W, 2D, 0L. 4GS, 2GA. Spurs: 2W, 1D, 1L. 11GS, 6GA. Overall: 14W, 7D, 3L. 45GS, 21GA. That's an average of 1.875 goals scored per game. Hardly parking the bus. For reference btw, we scored on average 1.83 goals per game in all comps against ALL teams in 04/05, sow we're doing more attacking now against the top teams than we did against ALL teams in 04/05.
  2. Everyone will call us a park the bus team however we play, because the morons saying it have no clue about football. The Chelsea of 04-06 is widely regarded as one of the best teams ever to play in the PL now, but at the time the chants of "Boring Boring Chelsea" every time we went 2-0 up then shut a game down were everywhere. No-one will remember that or care about it now. If you really care that much about what jealous fans of other teams say about us then I feel sorry for you. Success breeds contempt from opposition fans, you could be squeaky clean and still get shit all the time. The more other teams moan about and hate Chelsea, the more I love it. Man Utd were (and still are) the most hated team in PL history and the real reason for that is because they were successful. They cheated a bit and the Fergie time pissed a lot of people off but people find things to hate when you're that successful.
  3. For me (assuming Luis & Fabregas have recovered from their injuries): -------------Courtois-------------- -Azpi---Terry---Zouma---Luis- -------Matic----Fabregas------- -Cuadrado--Willian--Hazard-- --------------Remy---------------- Subs: Cech, Ivan, Cahill, Ake, RLC, Oscar, Drogba.
  4. What a stupid comment. When people look back at this season they'll see who won the title. No-one will know or care how we played to get it.
  5. Courtois - 5 - Made a mistake for the goal. But considering the number of points he's won for us this season, i'll let him off. Azpilicueta - 4 - Rare game where Dave got absolutely torn a new one by Navas' pace. Struggled big time. Terry - 6 - Solid performance from CLL. Zouma - 8 - Great performance from big Kurt, really plays like an experienced and cultured defender. Ivanovic - 5 - Good going forwards, poor positionally at the back (for a change). Matic - 6 - Made some great challenges, but also gave the ball away stupidly once or twice. Ramires - 8 - Lot of running, lots of energy, lots of commitment. Hazard - 7 - Great in the first half but faded badly in the 2nd when we lost most of the possession. Oscar - 4 - Completely anonymous. Defended well in the last 10 but offered nothing going forwards all game. Willian - 7 - Still has that annoying habit of cutting in but did well today, better passing than usual. Remy - 7 - Had only scraps to feed on, and scored his one an only chance of the day. Clinical. Drogba (sub) - 5 - Had little time to have any effect on the game. Cahill (sub) - N/A Loftus-Cheek (sub) - N/A
  6. Personally will take that considering the injuries/suspensions to key players. We're still top of the league. COYB!!!! League should deffo be ours from here!
  7. Let's not let their goal take the shine of ours though. Serious PL GOTM contender and could be our GOTY too. Fantastic, fantastic play from everyone involved.
  8. He hasn't been terrible, but giving most 50/50s City's way and allowing Sagna to hump Hazard every time he gets the ball. I'd say he's been ok/poor so far.
  9. Zouma, Ramires, Remy & Willian all been great so far. Tibo decent other than the goal. Matic varying between awesome and poor. Ivanovic poor. Oscar completely anonymous.
  10. I'd much rather they scored then than just after half time. Still think we have what it takes to go on and win this, COYB!!
  11. Bang on. Fans could cheer him or boo him, it's entirely up to them. He was a legend for us and did a great deal for them club. He betrayed us by going to our nearest rivals. It's up to the fans to consider what they think is more important. Personally I wouldn't cheer or boo him, i'd just ignore his presence.
  12. Hopefully he can celebrate that by not bombing forwards and allowing Milner in behind all the damn time....
  13. Surely we're expecting him to be paraded to the crowd either before KO or at HT? If nothing else i'm full expecting him to be in the stands watching.
  14. Remy & Zouma starting. Ake, RLC, Brown & Christensen on the bench. Big game for Remy and the youngsters today, really hope some can step up.
  15. BBC Sport had me worried for a second there. Blackman was on the bench instead of Brown and I thought Mou had 2 GKs on the bench and had truly lost it...
  16. I agree. I don't like players choosing ridiculous numbers but I wouldn't say it exactly makes us look small time, just makes him look like a bellend. But I think you're right, next season when the Drog moves to a coaching role I reckon he'll take over the no.11, so he just picked a ridiculous number seeing as he was only going to have it for 5months; make sure he sticks out to make an impression and all that.
  17. I would point the FA apologists to the fact that even Lineker, Henry, Scholes and Neville (hardly Chelsea's biggest fans) even said that he didn't deserve to be banned. And that's even before you touch on the ridiculous levels of inconsistency. Source: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/diego-costa-thierry-henry-paul-scholes-gary-neville-and-gary-lineker-say-controversial-chelsea-striker-should-not-be-banned-10012865.html
  18. Great take on this latest farcical, inconsistent attack on Chelsea by the group of cunts that call themselves the FA. How can an organisation claim to be consistent when there is no punishment for any of these incidents: There are lots more but if I carry on working myself up i'm going to have a heart attack.
  19. I personally feel that Oscar is an important part of our team. Sure he isn't up there with the best no.10s in the world yet but he's still the 2nd best no.10 in the PL (behind Silva, who is awesome tbh). He's better than Mata, Coutinho, Ozil and Eriksen (who are all very good themselves) IMO because he is very good in defence as well as being good in attack too. He effectively links our midfield and our attack and is contributing with a large amount of goals and assists so far this season. He's nowhere near the complete player and hasn't progressed as much as most of us were hoping but he is still very young and has time to keep developing to make himself into a top player. He needs to work on his passing (which at times can be erratic - so frustrating to watch a player play a 25 yard through ball perfectly then muff up a 5 yard sideways pass) and his worrying tendency to go missing in games (doesn't happen that often to be fair, but still worrying). I personally still have high hopes for him to make his passing game more complete and to become more consistent as a footballer. He's currently a very good footballer and is an important player in our system. Unless we plan on signing someone notably better than him in his position (Who is there really? Isco? Doubt he's available for a non-ridiculous price) I am very happy to persist with believing in Oscar and hoping that he will develop his game in the next 2/3 years and can become a Chelsea legend.
  20. Willian can suck my fucking balls. What a useless fuck he is in the final 3rd. Cuadrado better be at the club by the time Saturday rolls around.
