I think everyone here needs to be reminded that this season we play on Thursdays(!). Which means that most of the time we'll be literally fielding a second XI in those games. Even Kante can't play on Thursday evening and the right after that on Saturday noon. Thus, Hudson will get his chances this year.

But how the hell can we fit him into the squad next season? There's Ruben, Ross and who knows Kovacic might stay if he impresses....

I'd say it's a common problem with young goalkeepers. De Gea and Neuer had similar issues at that age. It takes years of practise, hard work and experience to develop the kinds of iron fists we see on some of the more experienced top keepers.

Call me crazy but I would have taken Kante off for Giroud

Although I agree with you, I think giving Eden those kind of wages would fuck up the wage structure. Football is a team game and you can't have one guy earning 500k a week whilst others are in that 200k-ish bracket

Alonso is still playing like an attacking wingback

There's a reason why it took Pep a full year to figure out City's defence. It's difficult to organize defence when playing attacking football. Losing possession is like blasphemy in this system and it always costs us big time, that first goal being a very good example.

I'm not very convinced with Azpi in this system. He doesn't look good on the ball and defensively seems to be all over the place
