  1. It felt depressing to sit and watch that game. We just weren't good enough Stale squad, ageing players, no morale, nothing! I'm not surprised we're out! Time to focus on the Premiership now! Season is by no means over! Arsenal and United with more games to prepare for than us, more resting time, hopefully better results. KTBFFH!
  2. I saw this in the papers this morning! I feel really sorry for Becks! Get well soon!

  5. One interesting thing to point out .... if Turnbull plays against Inter on tuesday it won't be the first time he's faced them! Remember:- Chelsea 2-0 Inter Milan during the United States tour before the season!

  12. this guy has been dubbed the new Robinho apparently, so that could go down well. I hope we can sign him, and he becomes a big hit.
  13. Danny Miguel - Zenit to Chelsea? Portugal playmaker Danny hopes to prove Chelsea he is still worth a £25million move after recovering from a career-threatening knee injury. The 26-year-old insists he was on the verge of a mega-move to Stamford Bridge before rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee while training with Zenit St Petersburg 10 months ago. Danny is set to play his first competitive match since returning to fitness when Zenit kick off their Russian Premier League season at Krylya Sovetov on Saturday, and expects Chelsea scouts to keep tabs on him. 'The injury made it a very difficult time for me,' he said recently. 'It prevented my transfer to Chelsea, for example, and even before the injury, I nearly went to Juventus. 'But I understand their position. They have to think twice before hiring a player who has an injury.' Zenit will seek to recoup the huge fee of about £25m, which they paid for Danny when making him their replacement for Arsenal-bound Andrey Arshavin in August 2008. ----------------------------------------------- Source:- The Daily Mail Date Posted:- 11th March 2010 ----------------------------------------------- Too injury prone for my liking, but it seems like he's a decent player. Though 5 goals in 18 appearances for Zenit isn't all that impressive.
  14. JOE COLE will quit Chelsea on a free transfer this summer. He seems almost certain to join title rivals Manchester United after the Stamford Bridge club humiliated him with the offer of a one-year contract and a 40 per cent pay cut. The England midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and had been hoping to sign a long-term deal to stay at Chelsea. He was stunned when chairman Bruce Buck offered a 12-month deal with a one-year option – even though he is still only 28 and regarded as one of the most talented players in the Premier League. Cole has made it clear he will not accept such a short-term package, with wages of £36,000 a week. Such a deal would leave him earning a fraction of what England team-mates John Terry, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole are on. The decision to offer such a poor deal was made by Roman Abramovich and effectively means Chelsea are happy to lose Cole without netting a fee. United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has rated Cole ever since he burst on to the scene as a teenager at West Ham . Starsport understands United would be ready to offer a three-year deal. Cole would have no worries about moving to the North-West with wife Carly and their new baby, due later this month. Manchester City are willing to offer £80,000 a week , while Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is also interested in signing Cole. ---------------------------- Source:- The Daily Star ---------------------------- This better be a bollocks article! This is Frank Lampard from two years ago all over again
  15. Robinho won't want to play for us since he had problems adapting in England.... i think that's the reason why he left. He wants to remain at Santos for the rest of his career now and i don't blame him.
  16. He's been doing well for Everton, but he's not Chelsea standard. So no thanks!
  17. My team should be this... Hilario Ivanovic Terry © Carvalho Zhirkov Lampard Mikel Malouda J.Cole Drogba Sturridge
  18. I've actually tried Spanish before, but it's boring and shit! Why not try a more germanic easy language like a Scandinavian language! Much more fun
  19. You should try to learn a different language like me, I'm learning Swedish been doing so for two years now and I know a lot of my stuff
  20. It won't happen, Pato has a 5-year-contract to run, so don't dwell on it. There are plenty of other probably better players out there. *ehem* Aguero
  21. After seeing the Man City game, I'm glad we got Stoke in the FA Cup Then again I will say I do agree with Layla! We need to practise defending from throw ins because Stoke have scored a lot of goals from them this season. And only Arsenal last weekend have been able to beat them so far this year, so thi is going to be a very tough game. And we certainly don't want a second successive home defeat because that won't go down well with the fans.
