  1. Yeah exactly, unfortunately no such report has mentioned something remotely as promising as that, so do we even bother thinking about Aguero joining us now?
  2. One thing I love about Ramires is his speed, and his all round ability to dodge defensive challenges. He's very much like Joe Cole in a way, and can deliver a real killer pass. I think that's what we lack in midfield you know, someone who can dictate play and offer the speed in attack. Now that Cole, Ballack (and almost certainly at least until Monday, Deco) are gone, I think Ramies will make up for it, and more because he's older than all three of them put together. If we honestly can't get Aguero; then Ramires and Neymar would be two players I'd love to see wearing blue.
  3. My god you guys are quick! Ramires would be a smashing addition to our squad!!! But I'm worried about Man City going in for him
  4. Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck has hinted at more additions to follow the capture of former Liverpool midfielder Yossi Benayoun. Buck admitted Chelsea were "looking at some things", having released Joe Cole, Michael Ballack and Juliano Belletti, and with Deco being heavily linked with a move to his native Brazil. Benayoun, signed from Liverpool, is the club's only summer acquisition thus far, but Buck does not envisage "anything major" in terms of transfers. "We're very happy with the squad we have now," Buck told the Guardian, "so if there are any more additions, it will be fine-tuning. Whether or not they'll work out, who knows? We'll just see how it goes over the next six weeks." ------------------------------------- Source:- Tribal Football ------------------------------------- It's from a shitty source.... but it's interesting to read!
  5. No way man! I'm not giving up hope! There's a whole month to go yet in the transfer window, and a lot can happen in that time! We just need to sit tight and be patient! We all gave up on Essien when Chelsea tried to sign him a few years ago, and he wanted to come to us. Aulas kept delaying and blocking the move because he wanted to keep him at Lyon, but coming to the end of the summer, he finally gave in, and then he came to us. It's the same with Cerezo and Aguero. Cerezo wants him to stay at Atletico, but Aguero has expressed his desire to go to Chelsea. I'm sorry, but when I see stuff like that, things look up for me. I'm not giving up on this possible signing just yet.
  6. His buy-out clause is like £40 million or something stupid right??
  7. I'd have chips with a good steak!
  8. Like Lyon did with Essien! Jean Michel Aulas became public enemy number one for us over that transfer saga!
  9. Curry for me!! Chicken Korma! Absolutely love it!
  10. that's very true you know!
  11. As if they need another striker. Adebayor, Tevez and Santa Cruz. Although Bellamy will probably go elsewhere But those three strikers.... Mancini will have a hard time rotating them, so why bring in another striker??
  12. And away we go with the injury list adding......
  13. I really hope the representatives at Chelsea will do the right thing by following suit and ban them!
  14. Just a quick question; who was the one who said that Ancelotti enjoys working with old players??
  15. I wasn't slagging Benayoun off at all, I was merely complaining about the lack of players we've signed. Benayoun is good, but he's a utility player who'll only be used for half of the season's games, so he isn't really a first team starter. We need players who are young and are guaranteed to get goals for us! Drogba and Anelka are in their 30s. Kalou isn't all that reliable up front, and Sturridge isn't proven enough... only in cup games. We need a decent "young" striker... Aguero *hint* *hint*
  16. This is the worst news imaginable!! I shall now call him "Judas Cole"... hope you have fun playing in the Europa League.... money grabbing traitor! All these clubs strengthening with top names, and all we've signed is a 30-year-old Benayoun!
  17. Yeah I agree, unless Bruma is solely going to a club to gain first team experience then this is a silly move. This has always been our problem! Loaning out players for a season, and then they enjoy themselves so much that they want to stay where they are... take Jack Cork at Burnley for example, although he did play in the friendly against Crystal Palace.
  18. I love Ancelotti as a manager, really... but if he doesn't bring Aguero to our club, he is a mug!!
  19. Well I guess you can say I'm going over the top, but sometimes the so called "tabloid crap", might be true. In football, you never know! I said "Judas" for a bit of funny banter, I didn't exactly mean it!
