Plus fucking one! what have I been saying about us losing english players, and no-one takes a blind bit of notice (I mean the Chelsea board, not the forum members)
-
We don't need Ramos! He's a right back, and we already have Bosingwa and Ivanovic for that position next season

Sources in Germany are claiming that Bayern Munich man Thomas Muller is now Carlo Ancelotti’s number one summer transfer target. The young attacker has had a fantastic World Cup thus far, scoring four goals to help the Germans to the semi-finals. The 20 year old adaptable attacker was a relative unknown until this season when he established himself as a crucial part of Louis Van Gaal’s side, scoring 19 goals during the Bavarian club’s double winning success. He has followed up with some superb performances for his country to make himself indispensable to Joachim Low’s plans. Ancelotti has been looking at various potential targets as he looks to freshen up his somewhat ageing Stamford Bridge side and has reportedly earmarked the powerfully built youngster as a signing he is very keen on making. He may have his work cut out however as Muller has only recently signed a new contract keeping him at the Allianz Arena until 2013 however the allure of a move to the Premier League may tempt the talented Munich man. Roman Abramovich has stated that he would back Ancelotti’s attempts to bring in new faces following the departure of Michael Ballack and Joe Cole and the likely exit of Portuguese veteran Deco and would be more than happy to fund a move for the player thought to be valued at around £22m. --------------------------------------- Source:- caughtoffside.com --------------------------------------- I gotta say it, I watched him play against Argentina today, he scared the living dayights out of their defence. He's a really good player to be linked with, but I doubt if Bayern would want to sell. I mean, £22 million is not that much of a British record breaking amount, but Bayern will want more money for him I would imagine because of his outstanding World Cup performances. In conclusion.. Great player, but Bayern won't want to sell.

Sergio Aguero joins the other Manchester club

That may be true, but it took Arsenal until the following January to sign up Arshavin after he amazed everyone at Euro 2008. Don't rule anything out! We have 2 months to strike a deal. I'm not throwing in any towels just yet. -

One report leads to many my friend.... I'm praying to god that this happens! The one player I want to see wearing blue next season is Aguero!! Please Carlo sign him up!! -
well, Argentina are out of the world cup so we should expect some activity. Aguero is the man I really really want!! If someone else signs him I will be very upset!!
-
Just reminding people how good he can be...
-
I just think everyone should take a good read of what Toft said. We must take faith in what Carlo does for this club. FFS he won us the title and the FA Cup in his first season...something Mourinho never did with us. Everyone here believes that Benayoun won't be a regular starter, so that gives you an incentive that we have a whole 2 months to bring in a couple more players, which is what Toft rightly pointed out. Hopefully one of them will be Sergio Aguero. God bless Scandinavians
-
hats off to you fella! that is an exeedingly good post!! :goodpost:
-
Yeah I agree, and they have Kompany, Lescott and both Toures now, who are all defence-minded.
-
*sigh* Welcome to Chelsea Benayoun! If he reckons he's good enough to play for us, then he'd better show it!!
-
Aguero, Neymar and Kakuta! I'd love to see them in the same team and run defences ragged!! Yes please

Manchester City have signed midfielder Yaya Toure from Barcelona on a five-year deal for a fee of about £24m. The 27-year-old, who played for Ivory Coast at this summer's World Cup, was told he was surplus to requirements at the Catalan club last week. "This is another fantastic signing for Manchester City," manager Roberto Mancini told the club's website. Toure's arrival follows deals for Spain midfielder David Silva and Germany defender Jerome Boateng. Toure, who will enjoy a three-week break before joining his new team-mates for pre-season training, is thought to have cost City in the region of £28m, taking the club's summer outlay to about £60m - still some way short of last season's £120m spending spree. --------------------------------------------------------- Source:- BBC Website --------------------------------------------------------- So Stephen Ireland, Nigel de Jong, Patrick Vieira and now Yaya Toure will compete for one DM spot at Man City...? Fucking circus act if you ask me!!
-
No comment! I give up
-
a lot of the tabloids and news reports state that Benayoun is meant to be the replacement for Cole... The Lord only knows why!!! Kakuta yes! Benayoun no!! I'm sorry but I just don't think he's a player we should be signing, are you aware of his age?? He's two years older than Joe Cole is. Sergio Aguero - Chelsea's future!!
-
it just sickens me because there is a whole world cup going on in South Africa to be looking around for potential players, but they would much rather sign up 30-year-old Liverpool rejects like Benayoun to replace Joe Cole. there are some weird crackheads going on in the Chelsea boardroom. As Kez said, it feels like we're going backwards
-
it would be nice to keep him, but he isn't getting any younger. I reckon he will be another one of Ancelotti's let-gos after Joe Cole and Ballack. It is of course a good thing since we're trying to reduce the average age of the club.
-
Aguero 100% Pato wants to stay with AC Milan = respectful Benzema wants to stay with Real Madrid = respectful
-
exactly! You would expect players like Alex to miss out because Brazil have so many quality players to choose from... hence their superiority in world tournaments. Especially when you have the likes of Lucio as the captain, while Juan and Luisão are decent defenders to play alongside him.
-
I definitely agree! And what about Gabriel Agbonlahor?? I was shocked that I didn't see one article with his name and England in the same sentance. Another player that should have had a place is Darren Bent, and before anyone questions my judgement, just look at the number of goals he scored last season compared to "fall over" Heskey. About Lamps, he'd be 36 by the time next world cup comes around, but I would love to see him participate in the European Championship in 2 years time, but I doubt he will make next year's world cup. If he did however, he would probably be there as a veteran with loads of experience, and be used as a father figure for the younger talents in the squad.
-
In that case I would love it if we signed Simon Kjaer! He had a great World Cup with Denmark. I reckon the Danes would have beaten Japan in the Group stages had he have played against them. Their defence without him couldn't deal with Japan's attacks at all. Alternatively, a good deal to bring in Sergio Ramos would work wonders for us, put him on the right side, and shape Ivanovic/Alex alongside JT in central defence. It would mean getting rid of Riccy and Paulo, but our defence would look solid there. Or we could just sign no-one at all and let Bosingwa recover from injury and put back at right back, while Ivanovic and Alex probe for a central defence slot alongside JT. That would work just as well I reckon, since Ivanovic is an excellent stand in for Bos if he ever gets injured, and Alex is just as good of a replacement if Ivanovic gets injured.
-
well, he wasn't, until someone in a Roma shirt collided with him, and Aaron Mokoena took out his ankle. I still don't forgive him for that tackle! He was on his best ever form until that tackle.
-
Hahaha I laughed soo hard at that!!!
-
totally 100% agree! It's fucking ridiculous! City are turning into a circus act! If Silva wants to play in the Europa League then let him, but I bet he'll regret that he made the wrong move next summer.
