  1. Some people are just sick!
  2. ^^^ That is just a sublime goal! I wish he scored goals like that, with us, on a regular basis! His time will come... I hope... I just hope Boas' patience doesn't wear thin quickly on him!
  3. I followed the 2007 Rugby World Cup quite a lot, but apart from that, Rugby is something I can't get into. It's difficult for me to be interested in another sport when Football takes the bast majority of your time and attention.
  4. Yeah that does make sense. AVB will want to experiment more with the side and find out the strengths of each player, especially in the midfield. Lampard might want to sit out at least one of those games though because of International duty maybe!
  5. Yeah I noticed that, Lampard has that determination and experience and solidarity in the England midfield, while some of the younger players like Cleverley, although he plays well for United, he dosn't possess that experience Lampard has. I think the press lately have been too harh on Lampard, saying that his time in the England squad is up, when he still has so much to offer...
  6. He won't, I don't think... normally our new signings come on from the bench when they start their debut
  7. really pleased with us signing Meireles ... he's not someone creative, but he can be a really powerful individual in the middle, which is just what we need ... really happy to see him with us
  8. Meireles is a brilliant signing! And for those people who don't like him... he's one of us now, and just like every player who wears the blue shirt, we need to back him to do well! KTBFFH
  9. Linda is Swedish... and she speaks perfect English
  10. I totally agree with you there! He looks miles younger than 27
  11. Hatfield is where I was nurtured for 5 years studying Computer Science, and I came out with an honours degree... university may be fun with the nights out, but it's also a case of putting the effort in. Linda is in Stockholm University right now, she's just started there studying "environmental science" .. (make of that what you will) ... she had to move over there too, and Stockholm is very far from where she lives, which is just north of Kalmar in Sweden... but yeah, it's all down to whether you adapt to the lifestyle in a new city too. I know a friend who came to Hatfield all the way from Bedford, and she found things difficult at first because she didn't like the people in the town, but the first days are always the worst.. but when you make new friends and you get into two or three weeks in, you'll find things so much easier. I had to tell that to Linda before she went over to Stockholm!
  12. Don't care what people say or think... this is one of the greatest sporting moments!
  13. Fuck me... what would you do with £90 million?? It's just craaaazy money!
  14. I'm hoping that too... both those players will link up brilliantly!
  15. The more the merrier... at least Levy and his shitty little Sp*rs team aren't £45m better off as far as I'm concerned...
  16. I guess you could say it was a good thing that we didn't waste £45m on Modric then...
  17. I agree with you there... Lukaku has a lot more build on him as a striker, so he can turn on defenders and muscle them out with ease, just like Drogba, though Welbeck likes to poach in and score a couple of goals. Welbeck has Premier League experience however, Lukaku hasn't got that yet, and will probably find things difficult at first seeing as he's not our first choice striker.
  18. True, and they don't have Henderson anymore either, but I watched Sunderland against Liverpool at Anfield on the opening day and they showed that they partially don't need them to put in a good performance. Larsson scored an excellent goal against them, and they defended really well after they had let in Suarez's goal. They may not have Welbeck and bent, but they have two former Man United defenders, 2 pacy wingers in Larsson and Sessegnon, and a top quality manager who knows exactly what to do with them. Steve Bruce is no mug, he is an excellent manager. I predict a nervous 1-0 win...
  19. Good grief... that is some crazy shit man!! when you want to sink really low, that's not where you want to go, if you pardon the pun! weird dude!
  20. Well, Welbeck is currently injured, so Lukaku has a really good chance of teaching him a thing or two. He needs to shift Torres and Drogba out of the way first... which he can do! It just sucks that Lukaku was preferred to fucking Kalou in the European squad!
