While disappointed in Frank I will obviously get over it and hold no grudges. However I don't think it's Pat Nevin's place to say definitively: "It won't damage the way Chelsea fans feel about him".

David Villa is going on loan at Melbourne City. Man City was not Frank's only option.

How's that naive? In the first instance he's not playing for a direct rival of ours whilst in the second instance he is. That's a big difference.

But could the order in which he says it be significant? You'd think it would be Costa as first choice, Drogba second and Torres third. Perhaps Fabregas is therefore ahead of Ramires and both will be played in the big games.
