Whatever his coach was thinking, he was wrong to sub him. You don't sub your best player especially when he can change the game in 1 action. I think the problem with Hazard is more due to coaching than the player. He was clearly missused.

I hope he's not expecting a long contract. I was very impressed by him when we played Atletico, he has more creativity and pass accuracy in him than what we currently have. He's a fine option to have for the short term especially as we're gonna need more experience with the legends on their way out. Wenger made a similar move with Flamini in the summer. For free, I'm in for bringing him back. The youths are not gonna be given a chance regardless of him integrating the squad or not in my oppinion.

Cech,Ivanovic,Cahill,Terry,Azpi,Luiz,Lampard,Hazard,Oscar,Willian,Torres(Eto'o if he is fit) I can't see Jose play anything different from this, he doesn't have much choice anyway. We're gonna need a huge performance from the creative players to go through.

Now that he's back from injury, Jose should seriously consider starting him on tuesday. I love Azpi but we're gonna need more options going forward and possibly more experience. Hazard hardly had any space around him when he received the ball, and he won't if Oscar is yet again to mark Motta.

Easily our best player for the last 2 games, the bit of rest he got from being suspended was great for him.

It hurts when your team can't score a single goal against the likes of Palace and West Ham while Liverpool has made it a habit of scoring at least 2-3 times per game.

Personally, I think we had a decent first half, in which Matic had his worst performance out of the 2. Luiz covering for him made him look less terrible. He got paired with oscar only after we conceded, thats where Mourinho decides to focus on scoring rather than stability. Probably this wouldn't have happened if Luiz didn't get injured. I completely agree about the 433 and Willian though.

Everton, Newcastle, West Brom, Villa, and now Palace.. The same issues we had at the begining of the season are obviously still there. We can't break defenses of the teams that sit back and dont allow us any space, and we lack good finishing. Jose tried to hide those issues with a good defense, it worked at some point but that can't last forever.
