We really need 3 points here and also, as "Bluesmaster" stated, we need to sort ourselves out from set pieces. But overall, What a season we are having!! If i had said last October that, in March we would be 4 points ahead with the possibility of making it 7, most people would say that I was spending too much time on the hallucinogens !!! but wouldn't it be great ????? I dont give a rats arse if Citeh have 2 or 3 games in hand, they still have to win them, and Liverpool have now moved into the equation too. Hate having to play Everton, they have a habit of taking points away from the Bridge. And I now feel Mourinho has done the opposite of what he wanted to do, and has put pressure on us to win following his outbursts about our Premiership rivals and associated managers. I'm not saying I disagree with what he said, but it has put the onus on Chelsea to win, and win well. Otherwise Wanker Wenger and Pellethead Pelligrini will have the laugh at our expense. Ok. Mourino shook the hornets nest and they really stung back tonight. They learned to mark tight and high up the field, and they never really let us play. So., although we were complete shite, you have to give City credit for their game plan. Now lets move on and win the League :blue scalf:

Ok 1-1 with West Brom and we played shit. Then its a good result !!!!!!! We have no God-given right to think we can roll over every team in the league just cause we're top. Teams love knocking the top team off the summit. We just have to work that little bit harder and kill off games a little earlier. I never expected to be top of the league at this stage of the season so its a bonus, so lets just enjoy the rest of the season, we are doing great. But please..........Leave Mikel at home, he's a liability (in my humble opinion)

West Brom need points, which is good news for us, because it means they wont "park the bus". They need the victory. So hopefully it will mean a fairly open game , and if thats the case we will win, no worries. Draw them on to us and catch them on the break. Thats what Chelsea excel at. If we win its four points clear and the others are playing catch-up. We can do this. West Brom are not the same side as the one that came so close to beating us at the Bridge, and neither are we. Chelsea are not a far more settled and balanced side than the one that played that day. This game will be a good test of our resolve and another 3 points would bring a superb haul over the past 8 days from 3 tough matches.

It is a few seasons since I have felt the pride I now feel for Chelsea. Maybe pride is not the right word, but sitting watching this match today threw me back to Mourinho's last championship winning season. We were just fucking awesome, and Eden Hazard ? what a player. Not just best in the league but, for me, best in the world at present because he gives you everything. Attacking, defending, harassing defences, embarrassing defenders and scoring sublime goals. I could watch that guy all day long. And also, we did more than beat Citeh last Monday night, we destroyed the myth that they were unbeatable and that even if you score 5 they would score 6. Against Norwich today just 2 shots on target. Chelsea have really dented their confidence and instilled doubt into the minds of the Citeh players and hope into the other Premiership teams. 6 great points this week and only 1 for Man city. Happy Days............Oh Yes Happy days A seismic shift in how I felt coming up to Christmas. So all credit to Mourinho, he has pulled this team together a hell of a lot quicker than I thought he would, and resigning Matic could be the masterstroke to win us the Premiership.

I have to say that having watched Gary Cahill playing recently he has really grown into this Chelsea side. I have been of the opinion that he was a better defender than Luiz, and that Luiz should and would play better as a DM. So I am now a very happy camper to see that Jose has finally listened to me and employed him as such. But Gary Cahill has really benefitted from a run in the side alongside John Terry. I think that he has grown in confidence and I seriously think he will be a Chelsea stalwart for a good few seasons to come. And Luiz likewise........but as a defensive midfielder

This one is a "must win" for us. Newcastle will be hurting after the derby defeat and they like coming to the Bridge, so we must be careful. Team choice is crucial and no matter what team I pick it wont match the one the boss picks. I'm sure Mourinho will have a surprise selection up his sleeve and I dont care if he plays "the masseuse" as long as we beat the barcodes about 3-0. Agree mate. I've read a fair few of their posts and they really have taken the defeat in good grace. Most praising Hazard and Matic and saying their manager is to blame. Maybe they should hire our masseuse At least one set of fans in Manchester applaud a good performance by a visiting team.

Why are people so worried about the Man City game after this game?? West Ham came tonight and "parked the bus" never really threatened Cech. They invited us on to them and just block defended. Now do you see City playing that sort of match? not fucking likely. They will want to try and bury us like they have done to every other team. That's why we have a chance,We are a class counter-attacking side and I really think we can get something out of City, and dont be surprised if we nick a win. We are well capable. And dont forget that once clubs see Chelsea are interested, that too bumps up the price by a couple of million. But I still think it would be a good deal. Mourinho is building a good young squad and if Luke Shaw continues to improve (which I have no doubt he will do under Mourinho) he will be priceless and irreplaceable by the time he's 24-25. And with the way player values are rising, what will he be worth then ??

Nobody on here is doubting Mata's ability. We all know that he is a star player, but he just doesn't fit the system we are playing at present, and as we all can see, this system is starting to pay dividends for us.So let him leave, it's just business. If we all had to choose between Mata and Mourinho who would you keep? Mourinho for me, no debate!! So if the Boss decides to sell. him, then I have complete faith in his decision

I never thought I'd say this but it does seem to me that Mata is surplus to requirements at Chelsea. Last week we bought Matic, this now means that we have Oscar, Hazard, Willian, Schurrle and Ramires who can play in the attacking midfield role, and Mourinho has chosen all these players ahead of Mata this season. That's why I think we should cash in on him.The player is obviously unhappy and the manager is indifferent to him at present. But if he were to go to United it should be an exchange for Rooney and not just a straight cash transfer. If Chelsea want to sell him for cash, then sell him to a European club instead. Personally, I think Oscar has lost some of his early season form and Mata should be given a run in the side. But, that's why I'm not the manager

Loved all the shots of Moyes on the tv. He looked way out of his league today and absolutely devoid of ideas. But you have to admire him, he has turned the Premier champions into a mid table side in 6 months and kept his job..........Outstanding
