  1. Couldn't have put it better myself. Well written intelligent piece Barbara
  2. I heard that Carragher was given elocution lessons when he started with Sky. I had really hoped that someone mis-read it and gave him electrocution lessons instead. Did you know that Mickey Mouse wears a Jamie Carragher watch !!!!!!!!
  3. FFS I'm watching Burnley score a cracker against Citeh to give them the lead.......62 minutes gone 1-0.Com'n Burnley :blue scalf:
  4. SACK JOSE.........IT'S ALL HIS BLOODY FAULT !!!!!!!!! WTF is all this negativity for Jose about. If anyone listened to his after match press conference, they would have heard him say that the team "choked", and did NOT play the way he had instructed them to. Granted, we were shit last night, but I doubt that Jose said to them not to shoot or to "pass the bloody ball to death"!! The team seemed to go out with a mentality that PSG would roll over for us, and that it was a forgone conclusion that Chelsea would win. And I think that this attitude even got worse after the sending off. FFS we made sod all decent chances, and at the end of the day they had the best chance of the match in normal time (Cavani) The team showed no heart, no fight, no desire, no passion and in all honesty no bloody interest to win and they took PSG far too lightly. PSG are a very good side and taught us a lesson in how to play with 10 men against 11. When we go down to 10 men we cant hold out for 20 minutes against a bottom of the table side(Burnley). PSG not only held out, but outplayed us, and on our own bloody patch at that. Let's hope that this serves as a wake up call for the league and we kick on and win it. But some players need to have a serious look at their performances of late, and to rediscover their early season form. Because performances of late have not been good enough to win us a League, and you can mark my words that City will smell blood and will put some real pressure on us from here on in.
  5. Oh Happy days. Chelsea win, City lose and Zouma becomes an immense part of this squad. Fills in the DM position superby after a quiet start, but Dave for me was the outstanding player today................Oh, and what sweet revenge for New Years Day
  6. How the hell are we gonna fit "YOKOHAMA TYRES" on the front of Oscar's jersey ?? I think he'll have to do some chest expanding exercises !!!! :blue scalf:
  7. Get a grip mate !!!!! We are fucking Chelsea............And since when have we become a one man team? We're only playing Spurs, not Bayern Munich !!!!!!!!! Here's my team Cech Ivanovich Zouma Terry Aspi Ramires Fabregas Willian Oscar Hazard Costa
  8. 2-0 city................SHIIIIIIIIIIITE
  9. Jose you're a fucking hero.......I've just listened to his after match interview with Sky and he handled it brilliantly. Now you FA bastards, reply to that !!!!!! Even Paul Merson is saying it's a bloody disgrace. We weren't just robbed, we were fucking assaulted and robbed.......Totally pissed off with how we are being treated lately, we seem to be the lepers of the Premiership
  10. Mr Atkinson, you're a f#@king cheat. Lets see what the FA make of this. Mourinho will probably be deported if he says what he really thinks of this debacle
  11. Have to say I thought David Meyler played very well for us today On a serious note, Villa Park has always been a tough spot for us to eke out a victory and today was no different. But it was a great victory and we are now 7 points clear. 6 points in our next two games versus Everton and Burnley and we are on the home straight.
  12. Overall I'm happy with a draw tonight. Our team looked jaded and we were without our two key players. I know they were missing Yaya and Bony, but really they were only missing Yaya as Bony hasn't played yet for them. Our bench was mainly made up of kids and Drogba, but when you looked at the City bench it was brimming with experienced first-team talented players. So for me, we gained a point and they really missed a chance to reel us in, and it will hurt them a lot more than us. They also had a full week to prepare for this match so I think they will see this as an opportunity missed. We were nowhere near our best tonight, with some of our players playing well below par, but we still ground out a result. And that my friends, for me is .......The mark of Champions
  13. With Jose being fined, and Costa most likely going to be suspended,I think that what Jose is doing is that he will use these things to his advantage. He will do what he is good at and instill in the players a siege mentality by not giving a press conference and by physicking up our players by telling them that everyone is against us, nobody wants us to win this match, or the league for that matter. And that we have to now circle our wagons and come out fighting and win this match, just to piss off the establishment. And I think that no matter what side he puts out will win, because they are going to play like a wounded animal defending his family. The scouse gits thought they could turn us over and they were sent packing, and to be honest I think they are playing better than Citeh at the moment.
  14. As a life-long Chelsea fan I have to say that todays loss has hurt just as much as when we lost to Orient back in the seventies after holding a 2-0 lead there too. (that's if my old memory serves me correctly !!) But more worryingly is that this was be a pivotal week in our season with Bradford today, Liverpool on Tuesday night and City next Saturday. Now, after today our season could fall apart in the next couple of games. This is where Mourinho must steady the ship and ensure our players are sent out in the right frame of mind in our next two games. Nothing but two emphatic wins will erase today's shameful loss from my memory.
  15. This is a trophy (however unimportant it may seem) that I really want us to win this season for a couple or reasons. 1. Because we haven't won it for a good few years now. 2.Because it was the first trophy won by Mourinho in his last stint. 3.Because it will set us up for a hopefully very productive 2 weeks. (Bradford, Pool and Citeh) 4.Because I dislike (ok then, hate!) Liverpool and want them to win f@ck all this season, or any season for that matter! 5 And finally, because I want that b@llix Steven Gerrard to clear off to the States absolutely potless, with a whimper and with no chance of a fairy-tale exit. Lets hammer these scouse pretenders who have flattered to deceive, and lets show what an average team they really are !!!!!!!!!
  16. Following some of our previous performances, I'm a little apprehensive about playing Swansea. We never have an easy game there, and they are playing well this season. And with City not playing until Sunday any slip up could be crucial. If we win then happy days, 5 points clear and the pressure is on them. But if we lose!!!!! Well I dont want to contemplate what that will do to the confidence of both teams. So, following my deep and mind-bogglingly obvious observations, the simple answer is.....................DONT FUCKING LOSE
  17. Much and all as I admire Messi and his unbelievable talent, I do not want him at Chelsea. Yes I know, you all think I'm nuts. But if you spend 200 million on a player and pay him 300 thousand a week I think that what you end up with is a ruined club. Messi would be "the star man", who would command a starting place every game no matter who the manager was.Other players would become disillusioned with the set-up as they would always feel second best. What we have now at Chelsea is a "team", with no player any bigger than his team mates. I feel Messi would totally destroy this.Any player who has such a major influence in who the manager is , or should be, or who plays and who doesn't, is to me, a danger to the club. So lets steer clear of this guy. Anyway...........I dont think we need him
  18. Mourinho wont drop Gary Cahill, and I wouldn't want him dropped either. Yes, he was piss poor against Spurs, but do you not think that he knows that himself??? And if he doesn't, would you not think that Jose has brought him in, sat him down, and shown him a video of the game and all the mistakes he made??(and a few of his team mates too) That's what I would do, and then I'd pick him against Newcastle and tell him to go out and show me exactly what he's got and why we bought him. He has hot become a bad defender overnight. So lets stick with him for this game and see how he responds, and if he doesn't produce a positive display then maybe think about dropping him for Zouma, who, it has to be said is progressing very nicely.
  19. Superbly written article that says it all about Mikel. A good(ish) player who does not suit our new style of play.
  20. Very unlucky to come away with only one point today, but Burnley taking a point at City really made my day. Southampton is a tough place to go, and after a below average first half display I thought we played superbly in the second half.........up to the 18 yard box. Beyond that we were a little lacking to say the least, but hey, these things happen, and we are not going to win every match. A win at the Spuds and this game will be a distant memory and maybe even a good point gained come the end of the season. But my gripe about today is that I dont like Mikel in the starting line-up. he's a liability in my book. And if you look you will see he was involved in their goal. Harsh on my behalf? maybe!!! But I think Ramires would have been a better choice for this match. I think we payed them too much respect by playing two defensive midfielders. I guessed correctly that Schurrle would start instead of Willian, but he was poor and failed to justify his selection. And finally, I think we are being harshly judged for previous diving antics, as Fabregas had a"nailed on" penalty turned down and he got booked into the bargain. WTF was the linesman watching? He would have had a perfect view of the incident but failed (miserably) to do the right thing. I wonder will we hear as much this as we did about Ivanovich's dive against West Ham? I dont think so.........
  21. I don't want Mikel starting against the Saints as I think this match will be played at too high a pace for him. I think Schurrle will get the nod ahead of Willian as he looked a little tired against West Ham, and Mourinho will want him at his best for the Spurs match,(If only to show them what they lost out on) Perhaps Ramires in for Oscar??? Though I think I would have a better chance of winning the lottery than trying to second guess Mourinho
  22. MUST WIN GAME.............3 POINTS, NO EXCUSES. Lets show them Manc f@ckers we are here for the long haul. Although City have 2 handy games over Christmas, if we win our 2 we will be home and hosed PS Happy Christmas Guys ans Gals.......Lets make it great by staying top for Christmas
