  1. I'm unexplainably confident we can win this
  2. I dont think Sarri's style requires full backs to get that far up the pitch, but I could be wrong
  3. Aspi can switch over and Zappacosta can then come on.
  4. Doesn't look good for Loftus Cheek, Drinkwater or Bakayoko. He could do a job for us though. But we really need to move out the deadweights. On another matter I see us "heavily linked" with Zaha, and Martial in a straight swap for Willian. I could go for that.
  5. A very good point. One which a lot of people probably haven't considered.
  6. Probably right, but he still has a fantastic football brain. When he came off against Arsenal the other night the team seemed to lose its rhythm. I know other players came off but Jorginho had no-one on his wavelength after that. Barkley ran and ran, but ran into channels where other players were, some poor passing choices and weight of passes. Hopefully with some work he will settle into the system and perhaps today he will get his chance. At this time I just think that for now Cesc has adapted to Sarri's system quicker than the others and is very comfortable with it.
  7. Watched him against Arsenal the other night and he terrorised Bellerin. This guy seems to have it all, pace, touch and football brain. Would love to see him start against City as he's a star in the making. I know I have thought the same about other youngsters but this guy is different. Hopefully he can keep his feet on the ground and his head out of the clouds. There has been an awful lot of talk on here about our poor transfer window. We have a class youth system but very few graduates. Maybe we should put faith in a couple of them and save our money. If CHO keeps up his form and is the real deal he will be priceless.
  8. I like Willian, but just dont think the CM spot would suit him. The way Sarri wants us to play is by short passing in tight spaces before unleashing our attack. I think Jorginho can be the ball carrier and Maestro in the middle, whereas Fabregas can pick out any of our front three usually with ease. .Kante would be the constant in the midfield in a slightly deeper role. If hudson-Odoi doesn't play I would rather see Willian than Pedro get the spot. Barkley could have a part to play but I feel he's not good enough to hold down a permanent spot. And Baka, well you can forget him. I take your point that Jorginho can play the Cesc role, but he is more than that. He breaks up the opposition moves and if he does that from deep, knocks balls to Cesc who then splits defences with his passes. Quick incisive play that Sarri likes and could work for us.
  9. Sorry mate but just cant see that working. Kante too high up the pitch with Willian as a Central Midfielder?? Plus no Hudson-Odoi !! Alonso as LB is a;so suspect but I understand that we dont have anyone apart from Emerson who is largely untried. Wouldn't mind seeing my team below, with Hazard and Hudson swapping over frequently. Jorginho being the play maker and Kante mopping up. Fabregas picking out his passes from a high position to the front three. Left and right backs can join in the attack as they possess the pace to get back if it goes pear shaped. Plus,Iknow we probably cant afford to do this but I'd play Bulka instead of Courtois .......Because he's a cunt Courtois Aspi Luiz Rediger Emerson Kante Jorgihno Fabregas Hudson-Odoi Morata Hazard
  10. Look, the guy (Morata) says he want to stay, wants to score goals and be part of what Chelsea are about. So I for one will give him a second chance to show what he has to offer. I haven't heard Bakadonkey come out and sing the clubs praises and state that he wants to stay and fight. And as for Courtois..Well just let him fuck off or rot on the bench, he's not, never has been, and never will be a Chelsea favourite.
  11. Probably see the same stating eleven as against Gunners. Willian maybe comes into the side, but hopefully not at the expanse of Hudson-Odoi. I'm a bit unsure about Christensen as he is prone to make a major clanger almost every game so I'd favour Luiz to start. Also all this negativity from some guys on here about us losing by a big score is daft. Lets not base this match on how they spanked us last season. We have some pretty good ballers on our team and given the right tactics we can trouble them. Both sides playing the same style should make for a highly entertaining match.
  12. Yep......Watching him against Arsenal and he done very well. Played well in youth team last season too
  13. Just let the lazy traitor go. His negativity will spread through the club if the spoilt brat is kept. I watched young Bulka against Arsenal the other night and he made some pretty good saves, and looked like he really wants to play for the club. Probably not quite ready for the premiership but given a run out in the league cup he wont be far off for next season.
  14. Look no further my man, because after watching Bakayoko I can confidently say I'd be much better than him.
  15. Agree with selling these players, except one.and that's Bakayoko...........We couldn't even give him away never mind get money for him I was at the match at the Aviva on Wednesday and I watched him when he came on. He may as well have stayed in the dressing room as I dont think he even touched the ball. Lumbering around the pitch like Billy Big Balls, didn't look interested, showed no passion and was a complete waste of a jersey. And then you see young Hudson-Odoi.....real passion commitment, skill and energy. Worth paying the €86 just to see him alone.
  16. Morata was woeful tonight. Missed numerous chances and a penalty. Doesn't look happy and is not suited to this system. looked like a 3 legged Bambi on ice at times, and his penalty miss was poor. Overall though, Arsenal didn't really trouble us until we basically changed the whole starting side. One big plus was Hudson-Odoi.......A class act who caused problems all night. Bakayoko came on an I dont think he even touched the ball. Needs to be moved on........Permanently..None of this loan shit and taking him back, cash out and accept a hit.
  17. I agree, but in all honesty what did we expect when 2 of 3 in the middle are Bakayoko and Drinkwater in the second half. Thought Barkley and Fabregas were comfortable with the system and adapted well. Defence may be an issue and the keeper....And we need to score more with this system as I feel we will leak more goals this season. Hudson-Odoi...Hopefully a real nugget in the making.
  18. Can I come and stay with you ????????
  19. Yea brilliant......Cant wait to see Jorgihno and Bakayoko together
  20. "We are Evolving!" Hopefully in the right direction. I just hope that he is given the time for to mould the squad into his brand of football, and not sacked if we win nothing in the first year. Look at Pep at City, won nothing in his first season, but quietly went about building for season 2 and what a season he had. In my humble opinion we have been building our squad on sand for the past few years, propping it up with average signings. Some have worked, and some haven't (Barkley, Drinkwater, Bakayoko, Zappacosta). Sarri likes to train up the players he has, so maybe, just maybe, some of our youth can now make the breakthrough and the potential of the likes of Bakayoko can be brought out. I'm wandering here (it's my age!!) really what i'm saying is that I dont expect us to sweep the board this season, but let him build slowly, and set the proper foundations in place for years to come. Now that's not much to ask for.......or is it ???
  21. Being a pessimist he will probably only have to survive for 3 years, and he's changing his brand to "John Player Blue"
  22. What a relief to finally get this over the line... Now lets get the signings tied up, give Hazard a new contract, tell Barca to fuck off as Kante isn't for sale, sell the mercenary Courtois (reluctantly) and keep Willian as I think he could excel under Sarri. Then the (Chelsea) world will be a happier place...finally Oh and Thanks for the memories Don Conte, loved it when you showed you real passion.
  23. WHAT?????????? Conte sacked!!!!!! Sarri allegedly coming in as new boss?? This was all kept very hush hush.......How come we are only hearing about this now..... Worst kept secret........EVER. but I'm very relieved its now moving, and my thoughts and best wishes to Don Conte, it was a rollercoaster ride. You put us back on track after a 10th place finish.
