I see what you mean and I agree with you 100%. I probably got the jist of what Iggy was saying slightly distorted. But I am to a degree a "day Tripper" and would hate to feel that our support would mean any less than fans who attend week in week out. I hadn't really thought about the "laptop brigade"but thanks for reminding me about those wasters supporters I have just had a brainwave.....Over here in Ireland where I live, we have loads of green fields where a new stadium could be built, traffic wouldn't be a big problem and I only live 40 mins from Dublin Airport. Our Government takes the cheapest corporation tax in the world and they would let us build as big a stadium as we liked (as long as the right hands are greased ) And if all you guys came over every second weekend you could party all weekend in Dublin before going back. And with the money the country would take in, we would be able to repay England for the large bailout we got from you during our "crash" in 2008. Oh happy days, watching us take a 2-0 lead , only to lose 2-3. Then spending the night getting blotto and telling anyone who'd listen how i would have done a better job..And a marquee signing for us was Duncan McKenzie from Everton !!! Hi Iggy, I would just like to say I agree with you to a point. I too would hate West Hams ground. But I'm a tad offended by your " proper fans no day trippers". i am a club member, been supporting the Chels for 48 years,used to go to all the home and away matched in the late 70's (when we were shit ) when I lived in London. But I now live in Ireland. This makes it kinda tough to attend every match but I get over when I can. So I would be one of these "Day trippers" you speak about. But this doesn't make me any less of a fan. We may not always be there but we are the face of Chelsea around the world and without us the club would be a whole lot poorer. I would love to attend every game again, but for me to attend a match and staying in London plus flights is expensive so not possible all the time. So please dont call us day trippers or tourists. We, or at least I,feel I am a genuine supporter, who just cant make every game.

Made for £5 sold for £90. Extortion Bought me first kit in the 70's and I now still have about 10 or15 Chelsea shirts going back to the Ruud Gullit times. But for the last few years I refuse to pay these huge prices. They should give out a jersey with every membership bought..

Not much to say after that really. We fucked up earlier in the season. Bournemouth, Watford, Crystal Palace, West Ham (home) etc. etc.etc.This game should have been a dead rubber for us by this stage of the season

i wll be the first to admit that I wasn't full of confidence coming into this game,and reading the pre=match comments of some people on here I wasn't alone. But having watched the match I have to say Conte got his tactics spot on today. I know we weren't very adventurous and soaked up a lot of pressure, but we were never really troubled by Liverpool. A couple of long range efforts and that was it. If we had gone gung-ho, Salah, Mane and Firmino would have crucified us on the break. But as it was Salah had arguably his worst game in a pool shirt and Firmino never got a sniff.. Mane got a couple of long range shots, but that was all. So lets give Conte a bit of praise for his tactics and the result. It may not have been pretty, but it was effective. If Conte stays i wont be unhappy, but let him buy the players he wants, not the ones the board chooses for him.

Huge game for us and a win is paramount. But if Conte plays that donkey Bakayoko against them I dread to think what will happen. Too slow, cant pass and way out of his depth at this level. Even Drinkwater or Barkley would offer us more than him.

Maybe today its just because there's not a whole lot to say about that performance Utter rubbish after half time, and what looks like a few unhappy players in the squad. Hard to find positives even in victory, and with the Pool next up...Well, lets say I'm not overly confident for that one

70% blame on the board for not backing him.....But he still has a fairly handy squad to work with, and he lost some handy games during the season. His apparent lack of enthusiasm for the fight and his constant public moaning over the board decisions has definitely rubbed off on the players.

5 league defeats in our last 7 games........I've seen lesser managers sacked for less than that.

We're chasing shadows and it's embarrassing to watch. Simply put, we are no longer a top four side. We dont have the players, passion or pride, and the manager couldn't give a rats arse as he knows he's gone either tomorrow or at the end of the season.
