A lot of people on here slating Alonso. Perhaps rightly so, but I've watched Emerson and the guy may be good at putting in crosses and getting down the wing, but in my opinion the guy cant defend !!!. I have seen him getting turned inside out, losing his man and at times being very tactically niave. If anything I would like an upgrade on both of them but in the mean time I'll stick with Alonso, only because of his free kicks and ability to score some cracking goals for us. He hit the post today with a peach.I understand he is lazy, slow and sloppy at times, but at the moment I see him as being better than Emerson. But what would I know, I'm just an old, white, balding, visually impaired, ugly, teetotal, grumpy, unintelligent, heterosexual Chelsea supporter. (Think I broke all the "ism's" there)

Well that has been coming a while now. Luiz as always shows he defensive ineptitude in the important games. Spurs are a big team and we go out with one of the smallest sides we have ever put out in the premiership era. Giroud should have been started, Kante should have played deeper as Jorgihno has no pace going backwards. This Chelsea side reminded me of the Arsenal teams getting bullied by us when we had Drogba, Essien, Terry etc. Nice attractive football, but winning fuck all. We are too lightweight against the top sides. And although I hate to admit this, Spurs are a top side. Only for Kepa it could have been much worse. Finally, if I never see Luiz wear the Chelsea blue again it will still be too soon. He's a fucking liability.

Everton came with a defensive game plan and rigidly stuck to it, knowing that our current centre forward isn't good enough to score against a well organised defensive side. Fucking Bambi stays longer on her feet than Morata. Kante was anonymous today and as many have said on here should have been subbed earlier for Barkley. Pedro was poor after coming on and Willian could, and should have passed to Morata for the best chance of the game if he wasn't such a greedy fucker. The type of football we are now playing relies on passing and teamwork, not glory glory greedy football. Hazard done his best but was shadowed by Siggurdsen all game. Luiz needs to sharpen up his passing skills. Rudiger was class and gave Richarlson nothing, with some nice passing to boot. But really, at present we are not or anywhere near a Premiership winning side, and I still think we will even do well to qualify for the Champions League, unbeaten or not.

I can only class tonights game as a "lazy performance". That defence was a shambles. Midfield looked bright and energetic early on but need to create more. Loads of neat touches, but no end products as in shots on target. Which brings me on to our Striker....And the less said about him the better !!!

Palace owned Arsenal for the last 20 mins last weekend. So not an easy game for us on Sunday. And those f@ckers always raise their game when playing us

If I never see this back four playing together again it will be too soon Cahill trying the "Fancy Dan" stuff and looking like an old fool. Christensen not much better. Emerson cant defend to save his life and Zappacosta attacking all the time and fuck the defensive stuff. There will be more goals and unless Sarri reads them the riot act we could easily go out.

A tough game ahead, but I think we will win this. Franks a Chelsea legend but he is not familiar with Sarri's style so I expect a victory. Just a bit saddened that CHO and some more youth aren't getting a run. Playing Willian and Morata isn't the smartest move with Palace at the weekend
