I wouldn't have Mata and Oscar. None off them is good enough for Chelsea. Ozil is not perfect, but is a lot more balanced number 10 than both of them and there are many others. Mata is far from world class and has a lot of problems with his physical abilities and the minor defensive work he needs to do, and Oscar is horrible for a number 10 in attack.

DO you really think Emeraldo chooses the players. LOL Last time that happened Valdano was out in less than 6 months. You just have to see the players Mourtinho sold like Mata, Luiz and many others. Mourinho is the one saying who leaves and no big signing is done without Mourinho. Emeraldo can have a big word in the Nathan's and those minor players, obviously in the big ones Mourinho is the one in charge. And even Zouma that naturally is not a Mourinho signing, if Mourinho didn't like him wouldn't be here. Mourinho doesn't negotiate the fees, but obviously if CHelsea neds to sell 50M£ in players Mourinho is the one choosing the players... and if CHelsea has 100M to spend Mourinho is also the one with that says which targets we will buy. Unless Abromovich wants someone but in that moment we could see another problem like last time. Emeraldo doesn't have much power, thank God because he created a mess (if he was the one in charge) before Mourinho was here. It's really funny to see that the grear buys and sells of Chelsea started with Mourinho.

It depends. THe club is responsible for the bad economic structural situation we are. We needed to sell no matter what... but Mourinho is responsible for the choice of which players we should buy and which ones should leave... so yes Mourinho is responsible for the great improvement in this team with almost no net spending. By the way in the end of this season Mourinho in 6 years won 3 times more Leagues than Chelsea won in the the other 7 years with Abramovich... and also more than Chelsea ever won in his history, Maybe with another coach like the ones we had we could built something for the future... what an amazing future that was.... with Mourinho the future is today, tomorrow and in every single game. By the way... when someone says that without Courtois we wouldn't be where we are, or without Hazard, or without luck, or without.... where would Man United be without De Gea in the first part of the season... or Tottenham without the goals in the last minute, or Arsenal without Alexis... or... If we can do more than 90 points this season it will be the third time we do it in Abramovich era... do you know what were the other 2? We are the best team against big teams in the last 2 seasons, we are also the team with more points in the last 2 seasons in the League, we are the only English team with a decent participation in an European competition in the last 2 seasons... all this with the worst net spending than Arsenal, United and City, with one of the worst stadiums and the worst fans.
-
Yes, now you can remember that simple pass he did after a great moment of Hazard for the next 4 months because it's the only decent thing he did for months, and most likely it will bethe only in the next ones. He's not vital, he is a problem that needs to be solved. I think we should continue with players that play like shit every time they are on the pitch, or maybe when they are sold we should break their legs because if they play well for a minor team it was a mistake to sell them. We should have a 50 player squad, or continue forever with players that desapear for 4 months. But yes, poor guy, he should be really tired when he played in the last 2 seasons less 20 or 25 games than Matic or Hazard.
-
It's really easy to play 25 games every season... it's more complicated to start 50 and expect a great performance every time. We need someone we can really trust to play in the place of Cesc and Matic and rotate a little. Ramires doesn't have the physical attributes or the quality in both positions. We need a better Ramires... Khedira would be ok, Pogba perfect, Kondogbia... Plyers that sometimes can play for Matic because they have that physical hability but also play in the number 8.
-
Like Mourinho... at the end I win. Bye.
-
Not personal... it's just that you really moan at everything and at the end of the season the only one parking the bus will be you... the bus of our celebration. I hope it doesn't hurt you that much. ABout your opinions... when you say that Man City has a great aproach to a game that they lost 4-2... we know how much you know about football... sunshine.
-
ANd Liverpool also when we looked at them last season... look at Liverpool today. The strange thing about United it's how they couldn't fight for any of the 2 last Leagues with a net spending of almost 300M£.
-
It's like when they won against Real Madrid in te pre season... It was incradible. And now is the same. 200M£ of net spending to be out of every competition in the first 2 months and without playing Champions League because United played at least 10 less games than us (maybe even more). It's incredible. Like the way Manchester City played in the first 10 minutes... and you were saying how amazing they were. The thing you like the most (you 2) is moaning about everything no matter how it ends. I hope it doesn'0t hurt you that much when we win the league.
-
Well here we are again, after another game where he does almost nothing special (he did ok in the time he was on the pitch) and people start saying that the things others do are because of Oscar... Face the reality. He was horrible in te last 3 months and at best ok in the first months of the season. Just like last season. It's not good enough and he will end this season again as one of the worst players in the team. He needs to improve a lot to be considered a decent starter here.
-
Oh... those marvelous moments when CHelsea was fighting for a CHampions League spot First Mourinho needs to ask Abrmovich where the hell is the decent stadium we need to have, or where is the financial balance or the money to buy players. If anyone has something to do is the club not Mourinho. Mourinho is winning titles even with all the problems this club has.
-
It was bad but we won so... Fabregas and Hazard played really badly, but they have 1 chance and they don't miss it. The defense was so unconfortable with the ball. Now a win from Manchester City with some injueries and red cards for Man United players would be good.
-
THe best 2 seasons of Benzema in Madrid were while Mourinho was there. In 2010/2011 Benzema played 2756 minutes and scored 26 goals. In 2011/2012 Benzema played 3432 minutes and scored 32 goals. For example last season Benzema, with no competition in the team (like this season), played 4052 minutes and scored 24 goals. Almost the same thing for Di Maria... Many people, for some reason, think Di Maria started playing well for Madrid in the last season... About Oscar he needs to take responsability for what he can't do.
-
This is a really important result because City is almost out of the race (they need a miracle), and Arsenal and United will play one against the other so at least one of them is also out of the title race. FOr example in this moment if Manchester City wins against Man United, and Man United against Arsenal we have a 99% chance of winning the League even if they win all the other games which is difficult. Another good thing is that our goal difference looks better when compared with United and Arsenal than in the case of Manchester City. THis position is incredible. ANd I think we are already CHampions with all the honesty... But we need to confirm it.

In reality Wilian was a lot better than Oscar last season and will be again this season. Willian never has a bad game... sometime he is ok, sometimes he plays really good like today and everytime offers something to the team. We have here a player we can trust always. By far the most consistent AM in the last 2 seasons.
-
I think I'm the only one that liked his performance. Always trying something different, without fear, helping in defense, almost one goal. For his second fair chance after the Everton game I think he did well and clearly should be in the starting eleven in the next games. He is a player that doesn't hide behind the team, and that can produce good performances consistently. I hope he starts the next games.

I have a lot of points to make. First: The Champions League is the most important trophy in football but it's not the best way to measure the quality of a team. For example in 2004, if you put those 32 teams in a League, Porto with luck would be 6th or 7th in the table, the same for Liverpool in 2005... they would have a lot less chances to win it because they had no quality for that. About the quality of Porto I would bet that all the team of Porto cost less than half the value Madrid paid for FIgo at that time.I think the playoffs of the NBA are played in the best of seven which gives some regularity to the thing, anyway the best way to measure a team is a League not the playoff system... anyone that follows football knows that the Barcelona of 2010 was impossible to beat in a League by any team in the world at that time, they were clearly the best team and they lost to Inter. This leads us to another thing... you can garantee you will fight for the League title, but you can't do it with the Champions League. For exampe we are a lot better this season, PSG seemed to be with problems... last season we won against them... this season we lost. If we were in the French League we would be CHampions by now with the lack of quality PSG showed this season and last season probably we wouldn't.The CHampions League will be always a long term project for a team, even if you are clearly the best team in the world there is a big probability of not winning the title. Second: We are at least the 4th team in terms of net spending (the real indicator of financial investment) in the League in the last 2 seasons, but still we are the best team in the country and the team that improved the most. And here we have a lot of problems... If we don't start spending, we can't fight with Manchester United in the future regularly, We need a new stadium TODAY.We need to close the financial gap to United and other giants in Europe or we will have problems to fight for the Champions League and the League.Mourinho is in a club with a lot of issues, in a period where other teams have better finantial possibilities and still he is winning titles. Third: Almost all the sells you say Mourinho did in this team were inevitable because of our financial problems. The club had/has a structural deficit and we needed to sell every season 2 or 3 good players to balance that. You can think it would be good to have Mata, KdB and David Luiz... but we would need to sell Lukaku, Hazard and Azpi... or Ramires, Courtois and Oscar... or ... What really matters is that we have today a better team than the mess we had 2 seasons ago, we are the best team in the country with virtually no net spending in the team, and the other teams spent more than us and we improved more than them...
-
The League normally is won by the best team (or one of the best teams if they are similar) the CHampions League it's not as simple as that, for example in the past 11 seasons we have 4 underdogs winning the competition: Porto 2004 Liverpool 2005 Inter 2010 Chelsea 2012 And that happens because it's a cup like the FA Cup or any other cup. For example Portsmouth and Wigan also won the FA Cup but they wouldn't do it in the League in a million attempts. The Champions League is more important than the League, it's more unpredictable, there are always 8 great teams fighting for it, it's a cup and it's not the best way to measure the value of a team. Rea Madrid was horrible in some of their Champions League wins being 6th like Chelsea was in 2012. About the money spent we have 2 problems. The first one was that Chelsea had a structural deficit of something like 50M£ (I don't know if this is the number but it's something like this, for example in 2013 we had a deficit between 35M£ and 50M£) and we had to sell, we had no other option. You can say if this player is a Mourinho player, or the other one is not... or what you want... even if Mourinho was in love with his 25 players in 2013 we would need to sell 4, 5 or 6 really good players to pass the new FFP rules. The other problem is that it's not the same to sell 200M£ in players and buy another 200M£, or just buy 200M£... I think that's obvious. If United sells Di Maria for 50M£ and buy Bale for 60M£ maybe they will improve their team, if they have Di Maria and Bale they will have an incredible team. In the last 2 seasons United spent 237M£ in players and sold 45M£ for a net spending of 192M£. In the last 2 seasons City spent 190M£ in players and sold 30M£ in players for a net spending of 160M£. In the last 2 seasons Arsenal spent 150M£ in players and sold 30M£ in players for a net spending of 120M£ In the last 2 seasons Chelsea spent 235M£ in players and sold 200M£ in players for a net spending of 35M£. The numbers are clear. And if United continue spending like this there is no way we can compete with them in the future. We were clearly the team that spent less money and the team with the best evolution in the past 2 seasons. And yes the team was horrible in every aspect when Mourinho started his job.
-
By good enough players you mean a team that was a complete disgrace and couldn't win or play properly against anyone, right? The Arsenal of that time, but not only a team that couldn't compete it was also a team that played horribly. And by the way, we needed to sell polayers not only because the team was really bad, but also because the club wouldn't pass the FFP without selling players. The club hadn't the financial balance, the financial power, we had an horrible team that was fighting for nothing. Today you have the best team in the country spending for example less 200M£ in this time than Manchester United. If you had another Benitez (or other coaches) you would be here with Mata, Luiz, and celebrating the CHampions League spot and saying how great is the evolution of this team... maybe next season we could fight for something.
-
Where is that money in Mourinho era? Because we spent less money than Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal in the last 2 seasons (the difference between what we bought and our sells)... and we are not only the team with the best evolution but also the best team in the country. You can moan what you want, but this is the reality.
-
Well,,, this team was an absolute disgrace 4 windows ago... It's really funny all that talk about winning the Premiere it's not that good, or we need to improve if we want to win the CHampions... but the reality is that this team had no quality at all, the person that built the team did an awful job, and Chelsea was fighting for a CHampions League spot at that time (we were just like Arsenal). By the way without Mourinho the titles won and the level of game in the last 6 years was really bad also. It's really cool to look at the future... 2 years ago you were thanking Benitez because he won a minor title and he could do an Arsenal on League. If United continues to spend 200M£ without selling players every season you need to start asking the club to spend something like that on the team (and not 30M£ per season like in the last 2) because it's imposible to fight regularly with a team that spends 5 or 6 times the money you are spending.
-
In your opinion no. I'm sorry if the truth hurts. Again saying that he was really good when he was not. By the way you can go to the posts in the start of the season when I was saying the same even when he was scoring goals and playing OK at best and eeryone was saying he was incredible. It's no surprise to see how bad he was again this season like in the last one. On the other hand you can continue saying really smart things like how great Oscar he is, and Hazard is better than Ronaldo, and Salah is an incredible player (when in reality eeryone was saying he was garbage when he was here). I'm still amazed with this incredible performance from Oscar.
-
LOL scored one goal in a friendly and played OK at best... Yhe only thing this game shows again is that WIllian is better than Oscar all day long like we saw in the past 2 years.
-
This is 2014/2015... for example I don't know what "chances created means" but in those stats we see Hazard creats 2.7 chances per game... multiplied by 29 games he created 78 chances in this season... Cristiano scored 31 goals and assisted 11 a total of 42...just in assists and goals has more than half the chances created by Hazard. Don't say that Hazard is on the level of Cristiano because it makes no sense. Even in the worse moment of Cristiano he is 2 or 3 times better than Hazard ever will be. I see Crsitiano, Bale, Neymar and Messi a lot... About the 2 Ballon d'Or players it's incomparable... and the other two are more complete players than Hazard and will have a better chance to be the best in the world. Hazard is really good... but there are other players in the world that are as good or better than him and the over reaction about everything he does it's really unjustified... there are many players doing the same for other teams and some times better.
-
The others are also better, but Ronaldo it's realy incomparable. Neymar and Bale proved it also doing every season what Hazard can't do in one single. And the difference between Hazard and other players like Sanchez and others is slim. Hazard is a great player, maybe the best we have... bt far from the super star you say he is.
