    • I would have been happy if we got him - we clearly need a striker to rotate Jackson with - but not as high earner.  Gyokeres is interesting if the club can push for him - seems to be the better striker on the market compared to Delap, Sesko, Ferguson, Boniface etc we have been linked to. Duran and Isak are options too but it's tough to sign them.
    • He was available for reasonable money (£50-60M); his wages proved to be the stumbling block. I believe he was worth breaking the bank for a year or so ago, but things have changed since. Would you be happy with the club spending £80m+ on Gyokeres instead? United have Ramus and bought Zirkzee; PSG have Ramos & Kolo Muani, so that leaves one of the three you mentioned as a viable option. His contract ends next summer, so I'm sure there will be more suitors in the coming months. However, m
    • I would argue he is. For reasonable money, I'd take him but not break the bank for him. He is not in the tier of players that you would pay over the odds to get Many teams wanted a striker in the summer - ManU, Arsenal, PSG and didn't go for him - other than the Saudi bids. Would be surprised if a big club goes for him for the main striker role.

    • Lack of competition doesn't mean player is of less value or should be seen that way. He parted ways with agent shortly after and sealed his move to Gala himself (if reports are to believed).  Either way, he'll see at the end of the season if going with just NJ for another season was smart or not.
    • Yep, I'd argue it was fair given there was zero competition for him in the summer + club is not in the Champions League right now.  It was Chelsea or bust for Osimhen and his stock has gone further down now since the summer.
    • Yes nobody is denying that Noni is a frustrating player and could have played less in that spell (Neto’s fitness was also an issue when he signed IIRC?) but Felix isn’t a right or left winger, he isn’t in the mould that guys like Noni, Pedro, Jadon & that fraud Mudryk are.  Maresca was also vocal about how he cannot play Cole, Joao & Nkunku in the same team because the team also needs balance.  I do agree that Nkunku has struggled but he and Joao have roughly same minutes, one
    • They will make it a 10 minimum appearances obligation to buy and after seeing he sucks big time after 3 matches he never plays another game, come back in June.
    • After his hattrick against Wolves he started 10 straight Premier league matches doing fuck all in most of them, he only started to get dropped and criticised because of his attitude since Tottenham which was in December.  For some odd reason this guy gets hated on here as if the players around him are great and he sucks when in reality, Nkunku has been wank whole season and Noni not much better, Neto has lost form as well, it's really only Palmer and Sancho who kept some consistency.
    • Not sure what you’ve been watching as Noni has pretty much been in and out of the side since the international break in November as well. He was also publicly criticised by the manager for his attitude, training and needing to do more so I am not sure what you mean nobody was saying anything, given the most important person at the club in terms of squad and team selection was saying things like that in the media. He has been out of a couple of squads since the Arsenal game as well so this n
    • Funny how every mistake he makes gets immediately called out but guys like Noni who was playing match after match doing fuck all in the Premier league for months, no one was saying anything. He still hasn't started 2 matches in a row in the PL, but people expect him to come in and suddenly make the difference without any rhythm or run of games.
    • If he done anything to warrant a chance in a meaningful game, I am sure he would get a chance. Only performing against Conference League & League 2 teams isn’t good enough for someone of his apparent “generational talent” potential, at this point in his career when he is 25 years old. Flashes and moments isn’t enough. When does it become a matter of when is this guy going to really prove his worth here as opposed to when is he going to be given a chance? He hasn’t made a meaningful cont
