  1. Past hour
  2. Dodged buying a top class striker and have done for years, goal came from it hitting Pedro on his boxer shorts and our two leading the fight for goals are Delap and Pedro.... Close the door on the way out
  3. oldest average age side in the EPL (Villa) versus youngest (Chels) and they are not 'ancient old' they have a lot of players in prime years or near it and they (and Emery as well) do not often panic 18 games in to the league, they have taken 18 points now from losing positions
  4. I’ve been as harsh on Maresca as anyone else here but for me that result wasn’t on him. At least not even close to the majority of it. We looked outstanding in the first half and continued to look comfortable up until the hour or so mark well into the second half. We were creating good scenario after good scenario in both flanks, we allowed nothing at all from their midfield who have been great lately, and Sanchez had nothing at all to do. Trev and Badiashile swept up any little minuscule opportunities Villa had on the break. We were toying with them and should’ve been multiple goals up. You could even see multiple Villa players getting super frustrated and annoyed because they couldn’t get a sniff. And then yet again we gift the other team a goal and collapsed afterwards. This for me is all on the mentality of the players themselves and not the manager. We have a team full of mentally weak babies with only a few exceptions.
  5. what a load of bollocks I never claimed to be right all the time you are the one who went snowflake because you cannot apprently handle Villa getting some credit I blame us (board, players, and Maresca) but I also give Emery and Villa credit both things can be true, it is not an 'all or nothing' thing not my problem that you cannot deal with that
  6. Everyone around us are picking up points even United We are going south and quickly, we will be mid table in a blink of an eye Watch Palmer's reaction we he got dragged, players are sick
  7. I am not a snowflake, I think I can live with you being a hero on a forum and banning me. Go post a useless 12 pages long article then.
  8. It does seem their wobble is over. However there is also Man U to contend with! Theyre not all bad bad at the moment
  9. If Liverpool have fully recovered, even 4th would be a stretch. Seems like 5th would be the more realistic target right now. That would be something in terms of year on year progress.
  10. In the run up to this game Marsca’s talk was all about Villa and Emery and how good he is and how well Villa are doing. Zero belief in Chelsea being the best. Players go out not believing they’re the best and the opposition is probably better. Maresca’s leadership style is the problem in my humble opinion.
  11. Defense is almost always guaranteed to never help (except for Sanchez who has been the best member of the defense in the past few months IMO) I keep saying the likes of Badiashile or Tosin getting game time is partly because of the directors influencing line-ups, but that decision to bring Gusto on for Cucurella at LB, was one of the dumbest managerial move ever. Gusto a low football IQ player, being forced to play out of position. Genius move.
  12. Im amazed people are still going! Guess if season ticket holder you have to but why spend £60 to watch half a decent game.of football and a diasater another half..if lucky. Mad lot! And know you don't go for the wins blahhhh but least a decent performance...or a atmosphere and thats lacking!
  13. I mean seriously, what incentive is there to watch the rest of the season? We are now TEN FUCKING POINTS behind 3rd at Christmas time. That is completely outrageous considering we were right in the mix near the top at one point. So why watch? How can we enjoy these matches in any way knowing that the absolute maximum we can get is 4th? To still be this far off being even in the mix near the top years into this ownership with the money spent is disgraceful.
  14. stop now or there will be consequences
  15. Plus why would he leave the stability he has at Villa and what he has built to come to us? Be stupid to! They wont make the right choice.. it'll be some random person who gets fired after a year and we begin the hunt again and again and again.
  16. These are the type of games where we need to just win 1 to 0. Defense never helps.
  17. I keep saying go for Emery but imagine leaving that job to come here to this shambles of a project Bloke would be deluded
  18. Regarding Maresca, it would be nice if there was a real good managerial candidate out there. Emery was good at Villarreal and he's good at Villa, but he's still a notch below real world class managers IMO. His horror show at Arsenal is something I won't forget, and pair that with Chelsea’s directors & board, it looks like a recipe for disaster. The biggest fear is that if Maresca leaves they go for someone like Rosenior and De Zerbi who also are unproven at the highest levels. Only interesting option out there is Fabregas, and thats a remote chance in hell, if we could get him.
  19. Sunderland (they play Leeds at home) can go above us AND Palace (play Sprus at home) can draw even on points
  20. That's fair. But when you said 'completely' disagree it was confusing.
  21. The worst part is that even after all the shitty draws and defeats, the likes of Badiashile and Tosin will be there to stay. Why choose to drop Fofana (who is at least a notch above the rest) for the Villa game and save him for Bournemouth is mind boggling.
  22. Hopefully that's Maresca sent home and not in the stands, blokes a clown and we need shot quickly
  23. How we manage to spend so much money and have so bad players
  24. "It's one win in six Premier League games. They're as close to 16th-placed Leeds than they are to third-placed Villa in terms of points" Well..thats lovely to know
