I really think that if those rumors of Monaco wanting Baka back are true we should cut our losses. We should bite anyone's hand off if we are offered a decent fee. Our entire team would be transformed with another midfielder on Kante's level. Even if we didn't change a single other player in the XI we'd be a significantly better side.

Hell, put Ruben in there in his place and we'd be better. Baka is just not up for this league.

This game  is screaming for Morata..He should have started or at least brought on at 60 minutes...We could have easily won this match if we had pace in the team.....Very difficult to create chances with 3-5-2 ...Sitting back against relegation fodder is unacceptable for a club like chelsea...

Kante still world class, Emerson miles better than Alonso and big 3 points. This win though does mask how bad this team is, we need some serious investment in the summer.

Scenario: Say we topple Liverpool to 4th, but they win champions league...does a 2012 happen again? Where we stopped Spurs qualifying? If that's the case...we should stop with the chasing Liverpool  stories in case they do win the trophy.

No. if we get 4th and pool win cl we go to the qualifiers. 5 teams in cl are max for country.

 

however, if we leapfrog pool, they win the cl and arsenal win the el we are out of the cl
