I think we could give him a number then change it to 10 if Yossi leaves, i remember once when Lucas Neill signed for West Ham he has number 34 but then in the same window their number 2 (Tyrone Mears i think) left so Neill took that number.

Unless there's been a rule change i can't see why we cannot do the same with Mata.
