Totally unfair that haaland gets to play against schoolchildren… well that’s what he made whu defense looks like today.

incidentally the tall whu cb? Had a free shot from inside the box to tie the game and he applied a ridiculous weak finish wide.

So glad we did not buy Kudus, he is so mid

way harsh

he looked more than decent today

was terribly unlucky to hit the bar on one of his shots

18 goals and 7 asissts last season

that is not 'mid'

Idk you saw something different to me, he looked very mid to me. He had a few miniature moments that were good, but he is not technical enough, his passing is simply bad.

Idk where to look up his goal history properly but https://www.whoscored.com/Players/400166/Fixtures/Mohammed-Kudus this page shows his last goals for West Ham, 5 vs TSC Backa Topola and Freiburg. Not sure where else he scored but I know he scored the odd screamer - as mid players sometimes do.

Never should have been anywhere near Chels and sporting director W to not proceed on this one imo - albeit not a terrible player by any means, just mid, found his level at WH.

So much of our squad is mid if he is.

And even if he is not.

Leicester City points deduction news is ‘coming quickly’

https://www.footballinsider247.com/leicester-city-points-deduction-news-is-coming-quickly-keith-wyness/

Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness expects Leicester City to receive news soon from the Premier League about their profit and sustainability (PSR) case.

Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – suggested Leicester have looked to significantly strengthen their squad despite their financial situation.

The club were charged in March with a breach of the Premier League’s PSR rules for 2022-23, with a points deduction set to be the likely punishment.

Leicester reported losses of £89.7million in 2022-23 despite top-flight sides only being permitted to lose £105million over a rolling three-year period.

But Steve Cooper’s side continued to splash the cash on new signings during the summer transfer window, having spent more than £70million on nine new additions.

Leicester aiming to improve finances to fight points deduction case

Wyness believes Leicester are looking to ensure they remain in the Premier League while they fight their PSR case.

He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “There is no update on the legal side.

“My position has always been that Leicester would rather fight this when they are in the Premier League.

“If they have got a strong squad and they can try and stay in the Premier League, that will give them more financial resources to fight any battle as well.

“Any club would rather fight it from being in the Premier League rather than being in the Championship, so I think they are doing their best to try and do that.

“They have had a rocky start to the season.

“There is no news yet, but I do expect news coming quickly from the Premier League regarding timings and where we are going to go with this.

“We will be watching the Leicester space quite closely.”

In other news, Leeds fans rage at Leicester points deduction update.

https://www.hitc.com/date-fixed-for-manchester-citys-premier-league-hearings-qa-all-the-big-questions-answered/

The long awaited hearings into Manchester City’s alleged breaches of Premier League rules are due to be heard in mid-September, HITC understands.

Sources have confirmed to HITC that the independent commission, who is due to hear the case of City’s 115 alleged breaches, will begin on September 16th subject to any further delays which is described as ‘always being possible’ given legal hearings.

The hearings are due to last for around ten weeks with the schedule for an outcome set for early 2025.

The charges were made against City in February 2023 following a five-year investigation by the Premier League. They relate to a 14-season period dating from 2009 and feature various counts of failing to provide information relating to player and manager payments, plus failing to comply with Uefa regulations and also failing to cooperate with the Premier League from 2018.

The main hearing is separate from City’s legal case against the Premier League which they launched in June this year and was brought against the league’s associated party transaction rules (APT) – those results are due in two weeks.
