chrismada9 1,948
Hopefully Sturridge is going down the road Jack Wilshere went when he was at Bolton!
BlueLion. 21,491
Owen Coyle is a superb coach and he will, no doubt, do Sturridge's confidence a world of good. The fact he is playing football, though, is the best thing for his development.

Only problem be hanging back onto him when he comes back and making sure he's part of the plans etc cause be a huge loss if we let him go,seeing how he can do in 3 starts and all
LDN Blue 7,903
This sums up Coyle's influence.Burnley fan at that wrestlemania thing, years ago.
BlueLion. 21,491
After this, it would take some serious ignorance and/or favouritism by whoever is manager next season not to give him starts in at least half of our league games next season. But let's not get ahead of ourselves; whilst we've seen what he can do in three games, let's see what he can do in a dozen, and see if he's still the subject of rave reviews. LDN Blue 7,903
If Sturridge gets sold i would be more gutted than when Rooben was sold.Robben's sale was justified imo. He was injury prone when we had him, and he didn't really take as many chances as he could have. Sturridge is a different case entirely. Badboy 1,526
Sturridge knows that he will get game time at Bolton. Owen Coyle has a lot of confidence in him because Sturridge is a superb talent.
Krypt 241
But do you see him coming back and getting a chance? i dont the lad will be sold because we seem to rate kalou higher , he should of never gone on loan in the first place he has much more to offer than kalou. Kostas 1,468
he should of never gone on loan in the first place he has much more to offer than kalou.Of course he should have gone on loan. He has a career to save. Not to mention that he may be working for his pricetag.
Krypt 241
Im not saying it wont aid his development , i just think he is a better option for us than kalou.

Milan 17,956
Sturridge to win the Golden Boot Well done lad, this loan was the best move, for everybody. 4 in 4 and he is not finished yet.
Kojo 4,676
The thing is with Sturridge, he gets less chances then alot of our strikers get, he just executes them all, he has brilliant confidence, isn't scared one bit on the pitch. Think what Sturridge could be capable with even better assistance at Chelsea. I could never forgive anyone for selling Sturridge, i really couldn't, even if Drogba stays for next season, i want a lot of rotation for Sturridge, since he deserves it. St Abramovich 175
Sturridge is looking Chelsea's future right now.To be honest he's always looked good, just now he's getting more than the dying 10 or 20 minutes to show it and he's reaping the benefits.
