Term-X 7,891
2 Games, in which he didn't even finish...Come on now.He handed in a transfer request to liverpool, knowing Chelsea were the only club interested. Of course he's happy to be here.
Milan 17,956
Sure he is happy, I don't doubt about that. Just give him time to settle in our team properly. We can't expect him to score a hattrick in his second game for us and after just two weeks training with us. He will be a Chelsea star, I am not afraid. Tortilla9 390
Liverpool game was never going to be good unless he scored a hattrick. LFC pumped up to play him. They were the wronged spouse facing off against their cheating spouse (in their minds and the media). Think it would have been better to bring him on as a sub. Let the Chelsea fans cheer for him as he warmed up. Spilt milk now.Fulham game yesterday. He had bursts of pace, good movement. Unfortunately his pace and movement were canceled out by his bad touch. He'll have those games where his touch is bad, he's pouty, etc. Then he'll score a goal where you wonder where that came from.Keep the faith. Term-X 7,891
Sheva scored on his debut and look what happened with him......
Tortilla9 390
Not sure where to post this so since we're discussing Torres....My daughter was watching the game with me last night. She heard the Torres chants and she said "I thought they were playing at Fulham". I said "yes, why?" She said "the Chelsea fans have been amazing". Kudos to the traveling Chelsea fans for their support last night, and not just Torres.
Milan 17,956
The problem will be the pressure and the stick he will get during awyy games. For such a sum of money he is expected to be a real killer and match-winner. He will, I'm sure. But these first weeks and months he needs to cope with the pressure. And once he gets his first goals, he will bang them suddenly.

dodojojo 510
His first touch has always been his weakness. It ranges from the ridiculous to the sublime. Since he was a teenager, coaches have said that he needed to improve his first touch. Unfortunately it's still something he never has been able to master. On his day he's one of the best strikers in the world. Imagine what he would be like if he had a consistent first touch. As I've posted before, he would be up there with Ronaldo and Messi. Cosmin 2,484
Don't let the press wash your brain about Torres. He's just fine, but he needs time to adapt. Remember Berbatov, I have to say this again, only scored 9 goals in his first season at United, even if he played in 31 games!!! Remember how badly was Ramires in his first games for us, and now he's one of our best players in every game. I'm sure Torres will prove that he deserves all the money Chelsea spend for him.I don't know if he's happy at Chelsea, but I'm sure he wasn't happy anymore at Liverpool. He wanted to leave, he wanted to sign for us. I guess he wants to win trophies and he'll give his best for this. I repeat, it's perfectly normal for him to play not that good in these first games. Questioning a player after 2x 70 min. appearances.Torres' main problem is the manager not even giving him the full 90 minutes.
ChelseaChick 430
He's only played 2 games and I think he will be great but there is so much pressure on him atm, all eyes are on him....'A watched pot never boils' but in all seriousness the Liverpool game was more like the Torres show and the media are loving this. One day soon he is going to shut them all up!

Questioning a player after 2x 70 min. appearances.Torres' main problem is the manager not even giving him the full 90 minutes.I agree Ancelotti should play him 90 minutes, especially like yesterday where his movement was quite good. Pity the passes weren't there and his touch was so awful. Had he scored on the Luiz pass or if Lampard had given him a better ball when they were both in/near the box, everyone would be saying how fantastic Torres was last night. His movement and spacing were there. His touch and his teammates' passes were not.
jmarlow 458
i have absolutley no worries about nando his movement is top class and its only a matter of time until he starts scoring, im 100% sure he will be a success at chelsea no doubts in my mind at all. exactly how i felt about Drogba in his first few seasons, he will be fine and will win many trophies at chelsea starting with this season!!! :champions:
