Vincent 403
I hope he stays. He is buying good players like Yossi, Ramires and David Luiz. Can't wait to see what else he buys. He is building a good team!Soccer isn't about buying players, neither is coaching. Coaching is making the best team with the squad you've got. There are coming more and more Cheslea fans post Abramovich' time. That think we can keep buying players, thats not the way. We should give more chances to McEachran and other youngsters from our youth. 'Building a team' digusts me, money money money! It's a club not a company! It's a club not a company!Well the best coach in the world, Mourinho is not a coach of that you ask for. For me those are the Guss, Bielsa and such. But they don't get as much mentions as Mourinho, Carlo and Pep, because they managed big teams. For me, i value highly more the work that Guss and Bielsa does then compare to Mourinho. But this is the world we believe in, and teams like Chelsea, Real Madrid, City and such will continue buying players and building teams. As I said in the past, Mourinho can build a good team that is efficient. But Carlo can build a team that is sexy and stylish in football but more expensive compares to Mourinho. Guest justin_3d
SAF"I cannot understand how you can criticise Ancelotti, who won the Double in his first season at Chelsea. It's the fault of the current media atmosphere."They invent problems where there are none. I am certain Carlo reacts like me. He ignores the media so that your decisions, your philosophy and your mental health are not affected by it. How can Chelsea think of changing a coach like him?" dodojojo 510
Other than the CL issues (going far in it and qualifying for next season), I think a major factor is how on board Ancelotti is with Chelsea as a different team next year. The current team cycle is coming to a close and if he and Abramovich don't see eye to eye on moving forward, then there's little chance of Ancelotti staying. Ancelotti doesn't exactly have a record of transitioning from a winning but aging team to a younger and different team. And I think this has to happen with Chelsea if you're going to maximize Torres and Luiz (and some of the rumored young talents coming in). Ancelotti left Juventus when that great team came to a close and the same with AC Milan.

He is doing it now, and will do it in the summer if he gets more money.

If Ancelotti buys to keep playing the same system and style and/or if he insists on keeping some of the aging superstars around, I can see him going if RA isn't in agreement with this direction. As a coach, most are risk-averse, especially the Italians, and they aren't usually inclined to making radical changes. A new coach may be a better fit and plus the new coach may not have the baggage of history and personal relationships. He could come in and clear out some old/dead wood.I'm not saying I want or think Ancelotti will go. I'm just presenting a plausible scenario of why he could go. I like Ancelotti from his Milan days so it's not like I want him gone. Just knowing his history, I wonder if he's got in him to lead Chelsea to a bright new dawn. laeth 527
If we sack Ancelotti, I'll be disappointed. We can't just keep getting rid of managers when we have a slight downer on a season. Squad and club harmony will never be achieved if we keep ditching managers and hiring new ones!
Guest justin_3d
Will you ever stop spreading false info? What are you talking about? It's the players Carlo bought. Torres not, as was bought by Roman. He is building a good team with Ramires, David Luiz and Yossi. He will buy more in the summer and make the team more competitive. Heck even Emanolo said how they know they are missing that creative midfield after Lampard and Yossi where injured. Carlo knows what he needs and will continue to buiid it in the summer. Guest justin_3d
Ferguson standing up for us? Is not standing up, is just telling the truth without trolling or hating. And that is what i like. I never liked to hear opinions from fans, cause its usually fill with trolling, and hating views. Neutral opinion is the best...however SAF is not neutral in this case, but he is spot on. Guest justin_3d
Some-what of a hyperbole but I'll let you run with it..It's true. Like the hypocrisy when i see some Chelsea fan making fun of City spending...and they forget to look at their own team.Hypocrisy at is best. A great man once said, before you judge, take a look at yourself first, before judging...something like that. And is the same thing here, first look at the errors of your team before you going hating at other clubs.

Not really, Chelsea earned a champions league spot (unlike city), thus the reason Roman came in.The two poster boys for our club, terry & lamps are both pre-roman too. This club is nothing like City, and our fans have every right to make fun of them.

That is hypocrisy. And speaking of club boys, City has more youth club graduates then we did for some time. They got Hart, SWP, and M. Richards. That is much better then ours with Terry....
