Bogarde was on Chelsea’s books for three years and ten months, apparently , and he earned £8,240,000.

As it is, That works out at £686,666 per game. :fainthv9:

Rix signed him, and he was under contract so cant blame the fella......still , mental.

Indeed men-tal.Think it went pear shaped for Humphrey when Gullitt got the bullet.Vialli just didn't rate him.

But at £686+k a game and already retired from International football,i know who had the last laugh!.

If we're talking about the worst team of the decade...

Bosnich

Johnson - Bogarde - Ben-Haim - Del Horno

Quaresma - Veron - Sidwell - Abrosetti

Mutu - Sutton

Subs: Sullivan, Høgh, Panucci, Jokanovic, Jarosik, Pizarro, Shevchenko

Glen was young and not that bad particularly going forward ,,,Quaresma was short term loan and never really given a chance ....SWP

was worse considerring what we paid for him and the chances he was given

When Shaun was at Chelsea, his step dad was bitching at Chelsea on Talksport radio about his 'lack of games'

Forward wind a few years and Mr Wright is now plying his trade on a 'less than' part-time basis on absolute radio, and not a dicky bird said on Shaun's 'lack of games' at Man City. The club he left Chelsea for to get "first team football"

Sometimes irony can be very confusing

Or shall we call it,Wrighty talking shit,as usual?.

Spot on.

I was a great fan of the adopted orphan when we signed him. Had no idea we signed the kid from Musical Youth by mistake.....

talking of playing time reminds me of Joe Cole ...is he even making the bench now? but of course he is at a bigger club now...
