Laylabelle 9,535
Poor Wolves we're going to smash them. Not a chance.Wovles fighting for survival they're gana up their game espically after loosing to Man U when they should've got something out of it and us we arent that great at the mo.Agree be a draw or a scrappy win.Though with our run no doubt a loss. BlueLion. 21,491
We've faced worse than this guys. We can beat Wolves if we play the same as we did in the second half against AV.
DYC. 7,542
We've faced worse than this guys. We can beat Wolves if we play the same as we did in the last ten minutes of the second half against AV minus taking a nap after we scored the 3-2.Fixed it for ya.And btw, how many times have we said ''as long as play like we did in the ...'' by now . eldo 868
We need to start playing from the first whistle. Not waste first 30-45 minutes

True_Blue 469
Logic Vs Blind FaithIs it logical to say we don't deserve to play in Europe if we don't win against Wolverhampton away? Sure it is...I wouldn't call it blind faith i would call it support.Support no matter what form or which position the team is.

Peace. 4,352
Carlo Ancelotti, if you want improve things, you should start to doing this : 1. Choose a Right Back (of course, Bosingwa) and let him play the whole match !! Almost in every game so far you have wasted a subtitution with replacing Ferreira for Bosingwa and vice versa... What's the point in doing this ? You just waste a substitution who could be used to play Kakuta or stuff... 2. Then, please, drop Anelka ! No one clubs of our caliber would play him after such performances ! 3. Finally, give Sturridge more than 10 minutes for Jesus sake !
LDN Blue 7,903
We're too old. With this mid-week schedule it's actually no wonder we're in a slump. Drogba, Anelka, Terry, Lampard & Cole are all 30 or over, this sort of hectic schedule (mixed in with the cold weather) is not good for these players. Physically it's taking a lot out of them, and they can't have a rest because we've got no-one to come in a fill up these places that would be left open. Certainly not Terry (with Alex out), can't replace Drogba & Anelka because then only Kalou and Sturridge are left. We could replace Cole with Van Aanholt (but Carlo would never do it)Drogba is 32. He's had a prolonged case of Malaria and in the last 2 months we've played 11 games. 11 games, 8 weeks. He should not be playing 180minutes a week, at his age it is simply too much of an ask. Same applies to Lampard & Terry, both have just come back from injury and long spells out (in Lampard's case) and now they're playing too many matches. THIS is the biggest flaw of our thin squad, it's that the main XI are simply too tired. It won't surprise me if we see a very lethargic performance on Wednesday. Laylabelle 9,535
Yeh.Xmas mental fixtures doesnt help but then again everyone has to go through itWin Weds..get ourselves in it espically with Arsenal playing Man City. One of them has to drop points, draw be even better but the way we go we kinda fail to take advantage anyway.Loose/draw Weds we give Wolves a hand and put ourselves more in the shit
LDN Blue 7,903
Yeh.Xmas mental fixtures doesnt help but then again everyone has to go through itYeah but they're not as old & thin as our squad But you're right about the 2nd part.. A win on Wednesday will do us a world of good, especially if Tottenham drop points. Since we have a game in hand over Manchester City, I'd love for them to beat Arsenal, we'd still be behind them, but not by much

LDN Blue 7,903
Personally I don't see us winning the title but I do see us being a thorn in the sides who do look like it. We can close down Tottenham and jump them for 3rd and from there be a nuisance
