people who only support their team when they win trophies are known as "glory hunters" here ,,they are widely despised,, true fans are considered as those who support their team thro thick and thin ,,,At chelsea the good times have been mainly in the last 10 years .. previously it was a roller

coaster ride of emotions.

Quite ironic a Man Utd fan is complaining about glory hunters at another club. 90% of Manchester United fans can't name more than 11 players. They support the brand not the club, we have that problem, Arsenal, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona. All footballing giants have their share. It makes it kind of hard to differentiate the difference to be honest. I say I'm not a glory hunter, because I supported this club before Abramovich came with his millions and stood by them.

There are some fans who came to the club after Abramovich and I don't resent them. Because most of those fans grew to love the club, they watch every game, they don't turn away in defeat etc.

Exactly. Personally I don't think to be a "true fan" if you go to the stadium, because let's be honest, it's expensive. But as long as you show you're with the club through thick and thin then that's all I really expect from someone who calls themselves a Chelsea fan.

I have no idea what your post means ,,I did however find it interesting to read your link from a manure forum of a few years ago ,,I suppose you

were going there before joining here....

desert means leave...I wasnt sure if your question was

rhetorical

Henrique,

Biggest problem you seem to have is accepting other peoples opinions, especially when they clash with yours. Get over yourself, you do not know everything. I wonder would you still be supporting Chelsea if we won nothing the last two years.

Stop forcing your opinion on people, agree to disagree and most of all think before you post. You should re name yourself KneeJerk.

Nobody's said a thing about going to the stadium, don't keep bringing that up.

Asking for the coach's head and booing players when they've just won the double, are through to the next stage of the CL with 2 games in hand, just 2 points off the top of the league and bringing through younger players for the future seems idiotic to me.

But like you said, that's how you do things in Brazil, so I'm not surprised. (well not anymore atleast whistling.gif)
