Neymar still on Blues agenda

De Visser makes Peru trip

Neymar: Chelsea interest.

One of Chelsea's hierarchy has confirmed the club are

still very much on the trail of Neymar.

Veteran Dutch coach and scout Piet de Visser is Roman Abramovich's personal

footballing advisor.

The Russian is understood to pass much of his footballing decisions via the

highly-respected 76-year-old - who was the man who brought the now retired

Ronaldo to Europe.

De Visser has worked with Chelsea since 2005 and his

latest mission saw him continuing the Blues' pursuit of Neymar.

Neymar is widely regarded as the finest young

prospect in world football but he will not come cheap as Sao

Paulo have him tied down to a

huge contract with a release clause of nearly £40million and that is what they

want for him.

Real Madrid and Barcelona, like Chelsea, have been

tracking him for a number of years.

The 19-year-old, who has already played for Brazil, only added to his

burgeoning reputation at the recent South American youth championship as he led

his country to glory and finished as top scorer - by some margin - with nine

goals.

De Visser made the trip to Peru in late January and stayed there for nearly

two weeks, and he made sure he was around to see Brazil wrap up the title with

victory over Uruguay.

Sources in South America even claim that De

Visser spoke with Neymar following the final match.

When pressed by the Brazilian press about his presence, he admitted to O

Globo: "I have watched some players and, yes, Neymar I came to follow more

closely."

Reports suggest that as well as Neymar, De Visser was also sufficiently

impressed by two of his team-mates - namely Gremio's Fernando and Casemiro of

Sao Paulo.

Here we go again...

Pace, creativity and can score goals. Sound like exactly what we are missing in our team.

If we can get Sanchez, I rather have him than Neymar. But of course I won't complain if we do get Neymar.

Neymar is much better than Sanchez...

Aguero - Drogba - Neymar

would be great!!! =)

PS.We do not need any of them because we already have players like Anelka, Kalou, Malouda, Torres, So why we need them? ...

Chelsea is wasting time. He wont leave at least any club pay the 30m for buy ouy clause. But if we paid 50m for Torres, why not pay 30m for Neymar.

Neymar is better than Torres. Time will prove im right.

Neymar has bad attitude. He's different to our three Brazilians. They are kind and ... That little primadonna pushes players, when things are not going in his way.

Torres is overrated, It will not take much for people to realize that!

Neymar has a bad attitude but he has great talent unlike Torres, Kalou, Anelka etc.

I watched Argentina against Brazil. He was useless, more on the ground than he played.

Lol... There is no player able to play well every game.

If you watched the South American u20 tournament, you would understand the great talent of this wonderkid!

PS. Lucas > Neymar :worship:

Yes, but the premiership is a physical league, if he gets pushed of the ball by Argentina u20 every minute, than he most definitely has to build himself up, or he most likely will fail.

Romário also had a bad attitude and he is a football legend. Edmundo was a crazy guy, really badass and he is one of the greatest strikers that I have ever seen. Drogba was also a diver when he arrived. You will regreet your words if he end up with Barcelona or Real Madrid.

You'll get heat for this.

But I can agree with

How much does he earn now at Santos?

He earns in month the same that Torres earns in a week.
