Madmax 9,219
Had a quiet game. Swansea were chasing the game in a direct manner and didn't get Josh on the ball often enough for him to make any sort of impact.Think Josh will need another loan next season, a year long one too where he will be starting every week . Swansea more or less have a settled midfield which reduces him to a mere rotational option.
DDA 9,939
Just feed Josh some maximuscle protein. He doesn't need to go on loan for any longer, in my opinion he is technically ready for us! Is loaning him to Swansea actually going to beef him up? No! He needs to eat a lot of chicken, red meat and protein shakes! 6 meals a day Joshy boy! I think Swansea's good because not only is he getting the nurturing of Brendan Rogers but he's also working with players who are like him and he can feed off that. He's making good minutes at the moment, considering they are pretty settled, and the coaching in itself is beneficial to anything he'll get here or elsewhere. Madmax 9,219
Yeah but at the same time you don't want him to have an easy go of it.Yep, I thought about that and him having to battle for a spot does have it's benefits in terms of his mental makeup. Hopefully he relishes that challenge and takes it upon himself to dislodge someone in there between now and the end of the season. If he is able to get himself in the shop window through his Swansea performances though, it wouldn't hurt if some other side or Swansea themselves approach us for a season loan next year with him featuring as a starter throughout. CHOULO19 24,332
he looks to be lacking confidence from what I saw on tvGood point. I thought he looked scared to make a risky forward pass and ended up passing it back to his defense most of the time. zolayes
Corazón De León 58
He's 19 today. I hope he gets to play more for Swansea. Don't think we should send him on loan again in the summer.

Bir_CFC 3,455
Doesn't Dyer play on the right wing?Yeah, Dyer being banned wouldn't make a difference. Routeledge(sp?) is probably second choice on the wing instead of Joe Allen or Britton. Doesn't change much for McEachran, except the fact that he might be first off the bench though. CHOULO19 24,332
Yep, he's on the bench. Hope he gets at least 20mins in the second half.
Kajo 176
He doesn't get many chances to play tbh. Whenever he play he was good so I don't understand why Rogers won't let him play at least 15-20min each game.

I watched every game Josh took part of, and in my honest opinion he was average at best. Like zolayes said on the previous page, he seemed too scared to make mistake whenever he played and ended up making back passes most of the time.
