Jose M 140
Overall a stroll to Victory but we couldv of played better, In my oppinion I think Zhirkov is a waste at LB he needs space! Happy to see our young ones

- 25 - 167
Nice to see our youngsters getting minutes. Bit disappointed in Cech cocking up another cross.Moscow beat Marseille in France tonight btw.
BomTrett 50
Drogba?Indeed. Realistically, we can expect Malouda, Drogba, Anelka against Blackpool. Ancelotti will not take risks against 'em, he's already said he wants an 100% record going into the game against Man City, and i can't see that'll he'll be playing Kakuta and Sturridge (even though they played very well tonight)Drogba will definately start
BlueLion. 21,491
Benayoun was very good, impressed by Anelka and Sturridge took his goal well. Mikel as good as ever but I thought Ivanovic and Malouda looked a little slow and off-pace. Good performance and very happy.Their goal was very lucky as well; it could have gone anywhere but que sera sera.
LDN Blue 7,903
Loved Anelka's goal celebration, no doubt he'll get fined for it. But good on him!
chrismada9 1,948
Yossi was man of the match for me.Plus one!! Particularly in the first half!! He put on one hell of a performance...My quote of the evening.... "We don't just have aging players... we have 'on form' ageing players!"

The Big Drog 1,110
We scored 3 goals and for the rest of the match we walked around the pitch, which is all thatw as required really. Playing away in Slovakia in a small stadium like that was always going to make it a tougher task than it should have been because realistically that Zilina side was not very good. Still Ancelotti approached the game in the right way, said all of the right things in the press confrence and put out a strong team.Just a few points from the game.- Anelka is a wonderful lone striker, that observation does not just come from tonight but from every time he has led the Chelsea line. This man would get into 90-95% of teams around Europe as the main striker, his movement is that good, his finishing that clinical. As luck would have it he is at the same club with the best lone striker in the world so he has to play out wide but he does a splendid job out there too. Man of the match tonight.- Michael Essien and John Obi Mikel continue their good form, Essien adds to his goal tally this season and Mikel puts in another good display.- Yossi looks so comfortable as part of the Chelsea midfield three, very good dribbler with the ball and has the ability to pick out a killer pass, his pass through for Sturridge's goal was sublime.- Young lads getting a chance, Kakuta getting half an hour, McEachran getting game time, Van Aanholt coming on late and Sturridge starting and scoring, always great to see.- 3 points, 4 goals in an away game in Slovakia, good result and puts us in pole position in the ground. A good nights work.
Slam Dunk 1,442
Decent performance. Not a great fan of Zhirkov at LB, think he should definitely get a chance further up the field, had a couple of good runs in the closing stages. Malouda seemed to go missing for large parts, i'm putting it down to lack of a recent match though. Great to see 4 of our youngsters playing, Sturridge looked very composed to take his goal. Thought the refereeing was poor for the majority of the game, couple of offsides given wrongly etc.
Badboy 1,526
Carlo gave the young player's valuable experience, josh was really good when he came on he kept the ball and moved into space. Anelka is probably top 5 finishers on the planet, and sturridge is our young anelka !
Miguelito 459
great for sturridge to score and for bena to play brilliantly. this shows everyone that our subs and are still great and will get the job done. really good first galf, but sloppy second half because we all just kinda stopped moving around as much and some people got lazy. zolayes 14,489
could essien be lampards successor ...in the two games frank has been away he has scored 3 and got into much more advanced positions .before people scream I dont mean now but in two years time perhaps ...I am becoming confident that we will have ready made replacements when our older players need resting or finally retire ...looks as tho anelka has another ten years left Edited September 15, 2010 by zolayes
