Madmax 9,219
C'mon guys whatever happened to the whole 'quality over quantity' thing? Since Jimmy Hasselbaink and Claude Makelele also played only 4 and 5 seasons at the club, does that mean they aren't 'legends' either? warnie_666 1,081
Something for Joe Cole to learn. Leave the club with dignity......

AlexRO 1
Ballack was one of my favourites players in the last years, I liked his confidence on the pitch and his committed to Chelsea and fans. But are some times when a legend have to go away from that place only to be remembered like a legend.Thank You Michael Ballack, for all that you made for Chelsea. boshman 1,073
Well played Michael Ballack I wouldn't call him a Chelsea legend to be honset but definately a well respected player who will always get a warm recpetion whenever he returns. Thanks for the 4 years Bally. Good luck at Bayer!

NattyBlue 44
Great man, leaving with grace and I respect him even more now, always loved a bit of Ballack! ;-)On Joe Cole: my love for him turns more into hate everyday, sad eh
Randall 315
A true gent, I always liked him and didn't really understand the hatred from some Chelsea fans towards him. I always thought he did well for us and I like him as a player and as a bloke.
Manuf 1,448
He had great attitude here at Chelsea. I heard he even wanted his wage cut half just for 2 year contract to play in Euro 2012. True legend and great player. One of our first big signings. Be happy whatever you do Bally!
