LDN Blue 7,903
What is Lucas good at, i seriously can not pin point his strengths.Personally, I say his vision. He knows how to pick a great pass & he creates good space for himself. He's kind of like Mikel for us. I'm not going to go as far as saying he's underrated, but he is an important player in that Liverpool squad, he's stepped up in that role Xabi Alonso left behind (though obviously Xabi was much better)
BlueLion. 21,491
What is Lucas good at, i seriously can not pin point his strengths. He's not a Xavi and he's not a Makelele - instead he's in the middle. He's a deep-lying, defensive playmaker, so to speak. If you watched a dozen Liverpool games, for example, you'd see in about ten of those he'd have more passes than anyone, cover more ground than anyone and probably have completed more passes. He plays the game in a very simple and uncomplicated way, and that's why he is appreciated at Anfield. He supports Gerrard very well. 5354 204
Ramires should find a way or learn a way to pass the ball or shield the ball around an oncoming opponent towards him when he is on a high speed acceleration.

eldo 868
Perfect ! Like this, we don't need to buy a right back when Ivanovic retires Lol. He's quick, can defend, attack, cross, mobile... Would like to see him tested there.

And honestly, I'd agree with you here. I ain't a big fan to play players out of position, but in this case that could work... And he might be a better solution than Ivanovic - at least when we are seeking for an attacking play - thanks to his pace. At least, I guess that is worth a try, isn't it ?
