I wonder how many Manure players participated at the world cup. Man U had a better preseason considering they played 6 games before the Community Shield.

Against, what has to be said as, weak opposition! It's no wonder they had a better win/lose record in pre-season

I'm pleased we played good opposition on our preseason tour in Germany. Surely playing against HSV and Frankfurt (who did very well last season in the Bundesliga) is better than beating some unheard of Irish team 7-1.

Of course it is, which is why in the long term we will be better off, and why we shouldn't worry about the results in pre season

Exactly! And yeh 3-1 shit but we werent getting beaten 5-0 or whatever.That be a worry but its pre season,kick about and test things etc
