Decent line up at Glastonbury the magnificent Sleaford Mods, also Radiohead, The XX, Royal Blood, Foo Fighters, Flaming Lips and Mark Lanegan I'm looking forward to all of them. I know it's for a good cause and it will raise a lot of money (more than the poxy government will hand out) but the Bridge Over Troubled Water cover for Grenfell Tower is beyond dreadful.

It is isn't it ? Been to Glasto about 8 times though not since the last millennium. Bit like a middle class corporate wankfest now - but still wouldn't mind going again

Never been F.B. although I remember buying a bootleg of The Cure in 1985 ironically not far from Grenfell Tower. Reminds me of a Charlie Brooker story when he went and everyone knows the states of the khazi's. Some bloke was in the portaloo and his mates turned it upside down coveringhim head to toe in everything that was in there ha ha

You'd love Glasto Iggy, though 1996 some of the contractors either deliberately or not,  in a sewage truck, managed to pump in gallons of raw sewage at head height into the Rave tent.

First song of The Cure that I liked got me into them. Killing an Arab I first heard on a punk compilation called 20 of another kind. Very mixed bag some good some bloody awful.

Just listening Despacito (the original ver.) couple of days ago, and can't stop listening until now. Help me, lol.

For K-pop fans, it has been almost a year since their debut, try listening to BLACKPINK songs (in case you missed it). Your first impression will be like, 'I don't like it, what a weird song'. But then after some time you will want to listen again and finally get addicted, lol.

Thing is,especially these current Korean Girl groups, that they are all from the assembly line. I cant tell these girls from any other one being promoted on MBC. I can see what BlackPink are going for, but maybe I am finally getting to an age where these type of girls aren't doing it for me.

 

None have the charisma of early 00's korean Stars like  Unee(may she rest in peace) or BoA.

Oh, yes, would agree about the charisma and stuff, none are stood out yet. Maybe because they're still very young and new though. For sure they are targetting young teens as their market. They are very busy doing product endorsement and stuff too, which make their popularity grow up so fast. Feels like their songs are unique though, when you just listening to it without seeing the MV, you will know it is Blackpink. 

Anyway, if you are a fan of solo singer. Try listening Sonnet Son. Especially the ones at Immortal Songs. Don't expecting a very attractive girl, but her voice is so good.

I actually prefer this to the wide-eyed pop stars they try to push. I like her eyes. Hell, its our eyes. I don't know when it became a crime to have monolids. My sister went through a phase where wanted the surgery to remove hers. Really broke my heart until we were able to talk her out of it. Always tried to tell her how beautiful her eyes were when we were growing up because I knew how the game was, but outside pressure is always present.
