Are you also insinuating you would reject Torres because he is an 'ex Scouser'?

Absolutely

I love how you didn't even answer my question.

And I shan't get personal on a football forum. It would be pathetic,to put it mildly. rolleyes.gif

I think it's pretty clear that I implied that I would start him, obviously not to you though.

I love how you didn't even answer both my questions.

And I won't.

I see you're offended by the Jewish comment but that's not the point.

You said he and Gael will be rotated meaning either one of them will regularly start.

We'll I'm 100% sure Yossi Benayoun isn't anywhere near good enough to be a starter for the famous cfc

I'm not offended in the slightest about the Jewish comments, I just find it funny how people slate other people based on religion as if they're better than them when really there's no difference at all as you have proved by not being able to answer the question.

I am 100% sure Benayoun is the perfect player to rotate with Kakuta and am happy with the signing, but that doesn't matter it's all opinions. It's nice to know I share the same opinion as Carlo though.

Benayoun ties up £70k-a-week Chelsea deal

Yossi Benayoun was at Stamford Bridge yesterday ahead of his £6.5million move to Chelsea.

As Mirror Sport revealed last month, the 30-year-old Israeli is set to join the Blues from LIverpool on a four-year deal.

Benayoun is already understood to have agreed personal terms, believed to be up to £70,000-a-week and he becomes Carlo Ancelotti's first signing of the summer.

Benayoun has enjoyed only limited success at Anfield since being taken there from West Ham by Rafa Benitez in July 2007.

Out of the whole liverpool squad the two players i respect most are Benayoun and Torres. The two players we have been linked with. Now signing Yossi is not a disaster because i think he would suit our style of play. We got him cheap, so i dont see why it is such a big mistake. This will give the chances to our youth to come in and impress and earn the right to get a start each week. Yossi is a class act and i think he will shine in a Chelsea shirt. Have some faith and support the lad.

In carlo we trust!

You respect Benayoun more than Reina or Mascherano blink.gif

Reina is class. Mascherano is also a quality player but that said he has self discipline issues on the field, Lunges into tackles at the risk of injuring others. Why do you question everybody's personal opinions?

Why would you not support Benayoun? In my opinion he will be give us more than Joe COle did last season and he will cost less, Ive never heard him complain at Liverpool and so far as I can see he always gave them 100%. He might not be the big name signing we all dream of but he is a good, experienced player and will add depth to our squad. To come out and say that you wont support him and you will lose respect for Carlo before he has even played a game for Chelsea is just ignorant if you ask me.

And you expect Kakuta to walk straight into that team?? Benayoun is a cheap and is good enough to rotate Kakuta with.

Spot on. He's a proven EPL player. Let's face it, he won't be first team material for every match. I merely expect him to be the stop-gap between Cole leaving and Kakuta making the step up. He's not a bad player at all, either. He remains the only player to score Premiership, Champions League and FA Cup hat tricks.
