warnie_666 1,081
OUT:BelletiDecoFerreiraBallackCarvalhoJoe Cole - If he stays firm on his contract demands.AnelkaHilarioIN:KakutaStochBrumaHutchinsonMaticDelacAgueroI would want Borini to go out on loan for a season or two as he would be way behind Drogba, Kalou, Sturridge, Aguero.Loan out Mancienne and Cork again for a couple of seasons to premier league firms so that they develop further into premiership material.I am not sure if we should loan PVA or keep him benched as at LB we already have A.Cole and Zirkov. May be a loan move to Newcastle for a year would be good now that they are in premier League.
neel 257
Out:DecoBallackBelletti AnelkaCarvalhoIn:Aguero (a second striker/ winger)a speedy central mid (Pjanic or Dzagoev)A deep lying playmaker ( Van der Vart, I dont think de rossi will come )I do not want Di maria. We have enough left footed winger. Want to keep Joey, not because he is my favorite player but it would be a bad business to let him go for free. From youth: Kakuta, Matic and Sturridge should have more game time. Hutchinson , Patrick van aanholt , bruma should be in first team in carling cup and should get some play time whenever it is possible. Loan out: Mancienne, Cork, Bertrand and may be Borini.Give scott Sinclair one last chance before selling him out. And bring back Stoch Edited April 26, 2010 by neel
Matterz 67
I would have a 27 man squad including of 4 Goalkeepers, 9 Defenders, 7 Midfielders, 7 Attackers:GK: Cech, Turnbull, Delac/Sebek, (Would replace Hilario with Asenjo or an experienced goalkeeper)DF: Terry, Alex, Ivanovic, Bosingwa, A. Cole, Zhirkov, Ferreira, Bruma, MancienneMD: Lampard, Essien, Ballack, Mikel, Matic, Kakuta, (Would replace Deco with Vd Vaart or Gourcuff)ATT: Drogba, Anelka, Kalou, Malouda, J.Cole, Sturridge, Stoch (If one of these players leave would replace with Aguero, Villa or Pato)OUT: Belletti, Deco, Hilario, Carvalho, Sinclair, Di Santo (Raise money from these players to buy Vd Vaart or Gourcuff)Would also consider Maicon or Alves if we were to sell Bosingwa for a good price. Matterz 67
There will a 25 players squad limit (8 players trained in England) next season. As far as I understand the laws, it only applies to the Champions League and of the players I have mentioned, 11 are home grown players, so we would be well over the requirement. neel 257
if Joe cole stays then we have 5 home grown players who are above 21 (JT,Lampard, A Cole, J Cole and turnbull) . We need 3 players from reserve/youth to fulfill the criteria. We can add more than 3 players who are aged under 21.

Kostas 1,468
The million $ question is "Will the fact that we won the double stop any attempts for rebuilding our old squad?"I mean we all know that Deco and Belletti will leave this summer and are likely to take the likes of Hilario,Cole and Ferreira with them but our best players this season(bar Ivanovic ) were Drogba and Lampard, both 31.If we're lucky we'll get 2-3 years of high level football from them but we'll have to replace them someday, and IMHO replacing Lampard will be an impossible task. kakuta44 16
as much as this season is looking to end very successfully for us hopefully securing the double ..... but obviously there has been a lot of errors that we need to work on ......i think one of them is about to be solved with aguero most likely coming to provide us with the missing pace flair and creativity missing in our team which sometimes happen to be so functional as some people would say ... i hope a deal will be worked out ....another obvious thing we need to fix is that we need some running legs to replace ballack in the midfield but who should be our target for that matter i don't know the only two that i am sure they will be good are de rossi and hamsik both young and very talented but both are very hard to get ......so what would be your recommendation if carlo decided to bring someone in the midfield or would you like to stick with the current options and give matic his chance .....personally i think matic is a great prospect but not exactly what we are missing remember we need running legs not exactly what matic excel at ... but i would love to see him getting some chances though ... i don't know who should we bring in all i know is that we need someone who is really good in that place .... Clevemayer 764
yoann gourcuff and pjanic are the only two capable of it, albeit gourcuff would be the finished prospect and pjanic would be more like a talented young midfielder...

Matterz 67
I personally think Ballack has been good this season, he is getting on a bit but he is still class and has bags of experience, would like to see him stay and be used a bit less. Should he leave my replacement would be Schweinstieger. Should Deco leave I would replace him with Van Der Vaart or Gourcuff. And would Replce Joe Cole with Aguero should he leave. NoFear 23
Well said Matterz.. Even I think Ballack has been good this season.. Not exceptional.. But still pretty effective.. Sound technical play & good positional sense.. Knows when to foul opponents to stop counter attacks without getting a yellow card As for someone new, I would luv to see either Schweinsteigger (Not sure of the spelling) or Milner.. both are pacy, tricky wingers turned into CM.. Can cover the RW, LW or CM.. really put in a shift in every match they play.. Either of them, Lamps and Ess would make a wonderful midfield trio !!! Milner wud probably cost a lot more as hes English.. But I still think we shd go for him..

Rambo 1,729
Kakuta should fit that role but we should buy another one anyway to replace ballack/deco/joey.
Matterz 67
I hope not because then Kakuta won't get the chances he should get next season. Why not, he can still get his chances as a squad player, there will be injuries and rotation. Would like to see Ancelotti use him more as a substitute, plus im not too sure he is an out and out midfielder I reckon he is better out wide or just behind the strikers.
